You're right, it's not the dogs fault. Some people don't deserve pets. He's beautiful and I'm so grateful that your Dad and Jami opened their hearts to him knowing that their plates are already full. It is possible that he's not guilty of taking lives of feathered babies. We will never know for sure. Either way, I wish Bond his absolute best life, wherever that may be. Thank y'all for being the kind hearted people you are! It's ridiculous that the officials do nothing for these babies in your area.

There’s nothing more heartbreaking than people who get a dog, knowing there’s probably a reason they shouldn’t, yet they do it anyway. The only one who ends up suffering for it, is the dog who ends up tossed from house to house, or worse, on the streets. Imagine if we treated people like this….Oh wait, we do!😳😢💔

He's awful gentle to be a stray and wasn't afraid of humans and seemed trained. Wonder if someone just lets it run loose and doesn't feed him well. But you're right just because he was there doesn't mean he killed anything. They have many wooded acres behind and it could've easily been a fox, coyote, raccoon, bobcat, cougar or any wild animal. They may have to put up there feather animals in a coop at night or repair fences to help keep out animals if they want to keep them safe. They've lost alot of chickens, ducks, turkeys, etc. And next it could be a baby goat. When animals are hungry wild or not, they are prey animals and that's their instinct. It's the humans that have to keep pets and farm animals safe.

I warn the adjoining neighbors to keep their pets contained, but to no avail. If a dog continually harasses my livestock their days of freedom are numbered. If the dogs are lucky not to get harmed by the livestock, they are trapped and dropped off at shelters at least 30 miles from my place. I can't imagine life with out a dog, but I keep my dogs contained so they are not a nuisance to my neighbors.

As far as people saying Megan wears the pants, say heck yea, and they fit her just the way YOU like. If it works for you and her that's all that matters. I am so scared of rides at the fair, carnival, or amusement parks breaking that I can't even go there. I'm afraid one will break with people on it, then land on me.. You kids keep doing you. PLEASE DON'T ACCUSE THIS DOG OF KILLING UNLESS YOU KNOW AND SAW IT KILL. I'VE RAISED HUSKIES FROM 1980 TO 1993, I HAD ONE FEMALE IF SHE GOT LOOSE WOULD GO AFTER A NEIGHBORS CHICKENS, BECAUSE THEY WOULD COME INTO OUR YARD AND TORMENT MY DOG'S. IF SHE GOT LOOSE SHE WOULD RUN THEM AND THEIR FEATHERS WOULD BE ALL OVER, BUT NEVER ONCE BROKE SKIN, IT COULD BE THE OTHER DOG KILLING. HOWEVER, THIS ONE COULD NEED FOOD, SO VERY SAD😢😢😢 ❤❤

Is there video camera footage of this dog or any dog actually eating or dragging off one of the feather babies?? This specific dog has been in the pond pasture before with all the feathers when he was chasing after Sadie when she was in heat and he didn't bother any of the feathers then. I think the stray dog that found it's way to Jake was probably the other dog that was running around with Sadie too. Neither of these dogs impress me as being ones who would kill the feather babies, but, I could be wrong. Lester said that Bond is very skinny, so hunger can drive animals to do things that they normally wouldn't do in order to eat. Nonetheless there are now 2 fewer stray dogs you'll have to deal with. IMHO it would be good for you both to walk all of your fence lines ASAP to see where animals could be getting in and sure up any suspect areas.

L.E I'm so glad your dad and Jamie took him. He looks like he's mixed with husky. Obviously he's not being taken care of. People don't understand the Husky breed either. They have a strong prey drive and are known to chase and hunt and kill small animals / birds. It's their natural instinct. A lot of Huskies end up in shelters and rescues for this reason maybe they killed the family rabbit or hamster so they deem them bad Or a killer. They don't research the breed they just see a beautiful blue eyed puppy. Also they are runners and escape artist. They're loving fur balls but a lot of responsibility as well as caring for their needs. I should know I have one. I hope he ends up in a great home.

It is obvious that beautiful dog is used to trusting people. Doesn't look like he's been running wild for long. Looks pretty calm and well fed. He may be someone's baby. Might be chipped. Hopefully, you can place him in a no kill shelter and he'll have a chance of his owners finding him again, or at least, getting adopted. In the past, we've had beloved dogs get away from us and become lost. Was always desperate to find them. Some we did. Others never found. Always tortured by thought someone may have shot them, since we livev in a rural area. 😢

LE, this dog is very thin so he hasn't been getting had many opportunities to catch and eat a whole lot of feather babies, in my opinion. The dog Jake found in his dad's she is well rounded and could be the better hunter, as most bitches are in the animal kingdom.
