Speaker: Pastor Philip Miller
Today The Moody Church family voted to call Pastor Philip Miller as our next Senior Pastor. This is his first sermon preached at The Moody Church.
In this season of fear and uncertainty, could it be that Jesus is inviting us to go deeper into life with Him? This passage contains three invitations from Jesus: come be with Me; come together and become like Me; and come join Me in the work I am doing. In this moment when the world seems crazy and everything is stripped away, do you hear His call to go deeper and will you draw near in discipleship of Jesus?
Mark 3:13-19

Dear Moody Church, You will love Pastor Philip. He will thoughtfully and lovingly deliver lessons to you that inspire and make you think! Because this man is so special I am grateful technology allows me to see and hear his messages from here in Washington state. A truly wonderful teacher and man of God.
Thank you Dale! God bless you.
It has been a terrible time for the church around Chicago traumatized by toxic and wicked leadership. I sincerely pray Pastor Miller will be a ray of light and after listening to him I feel Chicago is on the rise to take the lead again. I am extremely picky and 99.5% of the preachers in the USA are filtered out from my list.
Just became a Moody Church subscriber. Loved your message on the 3 invitations of Jesus and the the illustration of us naturally mirroring those we focus on such as our father and grandfather. May your focus always be on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as He has invited you to go forth into this new ministry at Moody Church.
Thanks David!
He's an outstanding expositor and Bible Teacher!
Thanks for your kind comments, Rick.
@@TheMoodyChurch I'm a local Pastor here in Chicago and a Moody alum (class of `98) lol
The best sermon to be remembered through over 65 years of my adult life since high school days. All this taking off from Mk 3:14! Thank you so much. BTW. the word 'lord', mostly used as a title (which is not a title for a divine being - as in 'Lord God''), means 'master' - master of life, yes, lord of life.
Welcome to the Moody church, I enjoyed hearing from you and your wife this morning and am excited to see how God will use you here!
Thank you so much! I needed to hear this thank you praise the lord
So glad!
Amen come Lord Jesus.
Amen
Wonderful message!
