How can you guys not like Ben Barlow's vocals, I think Tyler's voice alongside Ben's very unique voice works terrifically, some of you guys clearly haven't invested listening time into any Neck Deep, terrific band.
Swagcat only people with more heavy roots will like his voice. I love that raspy badass rocker voice.

risshi, I actually feel inclined to agree man, funny thing is this is more his stressed pop punk voice, that doesn't really make sense tbh, go check out his cover of fast car, he actually has a terrific singing voice

Holy shit. Neck deep and Issues are my two favorite bands right now. This was my favorite song of 2014 and this is just fucking awesome. Wow
This version is SO underrated.
I actually like the contrast between the two vocal types and can understand exactly why they chose the combination that they did. They're trying to replicate the harshness of the screams but with singing as the delivery method.

Whoever is saying that these two singers don't mix well is an idiot. Bens got that raspy, piercing voice. While Tylers got that softer, more technical. Sounds so good to have two different types of singers jell together like this.
At first i wasn't a fan of Ben's voice in this but after listening to this many times, I cant stop singing it and I frickin love this

Every member in this band is talented, new drummer Case has great flow and still keeps technicality, Jake on bass is musically inclined and knowledgable, Ty is talented at mixing, adding to the drums and setting this band apart, Aj is a really talented guitarist making great riffs with great tone for a single guitarist, mike is a surpassing vocalist, and tyler is a trained and talented vocalist that has made this band stand out from the many bands of this genre, Mike and Tyler really compliment each other.

As much as I love issues, Ben's voice improved this. His voice is different and I like it.
Ben's vocals are so amazing when he doesn't yell, but yelling adds power and gets me pumped so.

Going to be honest I didn't expect to like this version as much as the other one, but the dude from Neck Deeps voice adds something really nice here.
At first I didn't think it would work because Ben and Tyler have such different voices but they really pulled it off in my opinion.

I just started writing an album that talks about heavy and meaningful issues(no pun intended) that we all face everyday or once in our adolescence. So far I'm happy with how it's coming along. Thanks for being an inspiration Issues and Neck Deep. Keep being awesome

I really don't care if a bands fanbase are 12 or 90yrs old, nor do I care if they're crazy famous or not. If you like the music that they took the time to produce then it really doesn't matter what everyone else says.

I’ve recently disowned my abusive mother, and her entire side of the family. This song is really getting me through it. I’m 24, and with my girlfriend of 2 years just moved 5 states away on our own to start fresh. 1 month in and it’s the been the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve got a job that I like making decent money, and I’m in school to do something I’ve always dreamed of. It took almost a quarter of a century of hell and torment to finally reach this milestone. This song held me through the worst of it all.

Michael really isn't wasting his time in this band.. Just because their fan base tends to flock to Tyler (e.g. as SWS's fan base tends to put Kellin up on the pedestal) doesn't mean he's not important and very valid to the band. Issues wouldn't be metalcore without an unclean vocalist, because Tyler only does cleans, and Michael and Tyler have co-fronted what, three bands now? Unless they had a massive ETF/Ronnie sort-of feud, I can't really see them dividing off into their own bands. And let's be real here: they're a power team as vocalists. Woe Is Me was an excellent band, A Path Less Travelled was an excellent band, and Issues is an excellent band. Not to discredit the fellow members of the bands, because believe me, they are all just as important, vital, and talented as Michael and Tyler, but it's just too coincidental that all of their bands have been so good with them on vocals. They're doing well, and Michael is pretty obviously happy being in the band, or otherwise he would've left like he did with WIM. Stop griping. God.

Anybody can scream and he doesn't scream in any special or specific way. He IS definitely replaceable. You're just attached to him. Honestly, this EP showed he is really not needed and is actually holding this band back from being more successful.

I literally do not understand all the hate on this song. Ben came in on this because they wanted him to. Sure, Michael could have done it but he didn't and that's perfectly ok. Maybe he didn't want to or maybe they just wanted to try something different.
Why would Michael start another hardcore band when he's already doing so well in Issues? He enjoys co-fronting the band with one of his best friends and he enjoys being in a band with the rest of the guys. He's got plenty of chances to shine with this band, especially live. You guys would know that if you've ever seen them live. Michael kills it.

Why are people so polarized? I love both EPs and the album by Issues. I hope they continue to make unique and meaningful music, both heavy and light. They're talented, so whatever they do will be incredible. I don't understand all the arguing and such.

I can never manage to get the original song out my head I was always whistling it on the way to work (& tragically attempting to sing in it the shower xD), but when I found this acoustic version I'm now just jamming my guitar to this whenever I've got a minute, such a great song.

A lot of people are hating on Issues, and this EP. But I am personally really enjoying this acoustic EP. I hate hardcore/screamo/metal (i dont know what its called) But i absolutely love Tyler Carter's vocals. You may be hating on it because you're used to harder stuff, but they're also gaining more fans like me, who appreciate the broken down acoustic versions of songs :p

I love both neck deep and issues, yet when i first heard about the release of this track, I wasn't sure if tyler's and ben's vocals would work well together. Turns out I was wrong. Both of their voices are different, but awesome.

This is different and I actually enjoyed it. Been listening to Issues ever since Tyler formed the band. They've progressed so much. Also, for the complainers, if you were fans you wouldn't bash on them for things they're doing for you. If you think Mike doesn't get recognition, he's had it and always will. Stop complaining cause he doesn't sing, maybe he's self conscious about it. Ever think of that? If you can't respect a band for their changes, or their featured artists/vocalists in their songs, just get out. Please, we already have enough negativity in the world. Thanks.
