I was listening to your interpretation in this video after writing my last message and my two year old daughter came to me and kept listening to you fascinated. When the video ended she asked me to play it once again. I´m very grateful to you because you gave me this oportunity to let her listen to this, and to develop a taste for good music, instead of liking the usual low quality music that one can listen everywhere nowadays. Thank you very much. What happened today is very important to me.
This past week I've been revisiting some of the videos that had the greatest impact on my high-school days and leaving comments on how I feel in regards to them. This particular video is where I got the idea to start to play the guitar. If it wasn't for his amazing playing and cover of this beautiful arrangement I don't know where I'd be. Through listening to his music and beginning to really appreciate the culture that surrounds him I was able to vision the roots where the fruits of his good works are planted. I found where the source of his inspiration is, and am proud to say that through his wondrous works he has inspired me to travel to his home-country and experience his culture. Continue to do great things man, you're a good person.
After being a serious amateur musician all my life, it's only recently that I've realized that, as a practical matter, what separates amateurs from professionals is the ability to play a challenging piece of music from beginning to end while under pressure without making a mistake.

Sungha Jung and Kotaro Oshio are both the best Players in performing this most beautiful song in Acoustic Guitar Version by far I think. Thank You for playing this, and Thank You, Johann Pachelbel, for your such lovely work of art. Also really love Canon Rock performed by Asian Lead Guitar Master -- JerryC and FunTwo. 👍☺👍
Kotaro Oshio's classical Canon arrangement is the best Canon version. If you guys pay attention enough, almost every single tone has kind of 'shadow'. They called 6th intervals.
Can you guys even acknowledge the amount of hard work it takes to do that? You misplace your finger few millimetres and it’ll sound horrible, it takes sheer dedication and consistency to master this, Sungha is truly a legend!
jwcfree Sungha Jung, you are a master! Thank you for sharing this! I have always loved Pachelbel's Canon and even have a playlist just for different performances of it. Since I'm pretty used to hearing it, I was surprised when I began weeping after about 2/3rds into the length of this video. I suppose its beauty reached an emotional spot deep down inside my soul. I will definitely check out more of your videos.
Mate, ive listened to you on elec and acoustic. Elec is fantastic but this is at a whole other level. One instrument cannot do justice to Pachelbel but damn if this isnt as close as Ive seen. Beautiful. Thankyou.
