HELLO EVERYONE! Thanks for watching! Be sure to check the video description for links to all the tools and art supplies I used to make this video! Have an awesome week!
I loved the editing it felt so charming and relaxed. I would love to see more marker videos again, but I’m usually excited for anything that you put out
I really enjoyed seeing some real time footage thrown in there, made it feel less rushed and a bit more relaxing. I would love to see more videos like this.
I just love watching your videos they are so soothing to the eyes. plus I love your voice and the music.... everything about your videos just calms me down.
The editing was so nice and warm. It seemed calmer than most the art videos I like to watch and it was so cool! I would greatly appreciate and love to see more like this. And your art is beautiful, matched the mood perfectly. Made me want to draw with a cupcake candle beside me! :)
I love the new video ideas, esp the candle and water, keep them in your into! I too like videos/vlogs that are calming. The only critic I have is the lighting? The lighter blue comes off florsent at times, I don't know if its the paint or the lighting. The entire video was very calming so please keep it up. Also I would love more copic/alcohol marker videos.
For SURE it's important to take time to create art just for yourself..... A lot of the things I've been making lately are specifically for videos, and I think sometimes just making art that you want to but can HAPPEN to use for a video if you choose might be a great way of keeping yourself sane. I'm happy you've chosen to make this change, because it's important in the long run. Love the video, and I really like the soft lines you used for the eyelashes-that's something I've never used in my own work and you make me want to see if I'd like it! P.S. Mission gold is great! They were the first watercolors I bought when I started working with watercolors like... a year and some change ago. I haven't been using them much since the first couple of months because they no longer suit my scattered and compact working style, but I definitely still love them and recommend them to everyone-Especially people who aren't sure what they want to do with watercolors but want to start! They've got a great range and are really nice quality, and their pigments are POW WOW WOWWWWW! I just ventured over to the extra-flowy side, is all.
I loved the start and beginning for this video! I think things like this make a video a bit more personal if that makes sense. Also liked the art, of course. I really enjoy how lose and lively your colouring looks. And yay for personal art work!
Hi! Quick (dumb) question but what kind of pencil are you using for the sketching part? I often see people drawing with a blue or pink/red pencil (and obviously it's the only supply nobody ever lists in their art supplies section) and I always wonder if it's a simple color pencil or if it's really something made for sketching (and that can be erased kind of like a graphite pencil). If it is, what is it called. Thanks! To answer your question in the beginning of the video, I like that editing style, as long as we can see what your doing it's no problem and it gives a little something to the video 😊
Not a dumb question at all! I'm using a Prismacolor Verithin pencil in the color crimson red - the Verithin pencils are colored pencils, so they are more difficult to erase than a regular drawing pencil. I studied animation in college, a lot of the practices I learned have carried over to my illustration work. It's pretty standard to use red or blue pencil for rough 2D animation work, then do cleanup work in a harder graphite pencil (or ink). I have continued to use the red pencil because I got very used to using it when I was in college. I also like the way my sketches look in red as opposed to using graphite (and doesn't smear like graphite does, which is a big bonus). I also find that red shows up on an light table better than blue pencil or soft graphite. The Prismacolor Col-Erase pencils also work great for sketching, I prefer the Verithin since they are a bit easier to erase. It's mainly a preference thing for most artists, some like to use graphite some like to use colored pencil for sketching. Hope that helps! :)
Thank you so much for your answer 😁 it does help a lot ^^ I'm not in the art field at all (I studied engineering ^^) so I don't have any knowledge of these things ^^ so far I've only used graphite used graphite in my drawings but I want to start adding color and I've noticed that these colored pencils seem to blend in better, you don't see the lines as much and it looks more "natural " Again thank you so much, it was very helpful 🤗 and also your videos are really inspiring 😄
Hey 👋 $I am an artist and you inspired me to make art tutorials too! I hope the art community can benefit and learn from my videos like how you inspired others! Love Destiny ❤️❤️
i really enjoyed watching this video but I felt the first little clips before the art just felt a little bit too long, like I don't mind those sort of clips, they definitely can add to the video but I was sitting there just like how long do I have to wait. The piece turned out really pretty by the way :) really love the way you use watercolors
I was JUST telling my boyfriend about how I feel like I’m “wasting” my good watercolour paper for sketches and swatches and scraps. I also am starting to dislike the fact that I now have 100 pieces of loose leaf floating about my desk and I need 1 book to contain my ideas and work.
I really like this new style of video but the only problem is the abrupt ending of the music in the beginning. Loved the painting and colors. Especially the flowers. xx
This is absolutely beautiful. You should do more of these. I truly enjoy watching your videos. Please create more of these watercolor paintings.
