The talk about the small nuances makes me listen for them more and suddenly I can rediscover music I've listened to for 40 years and manage to find new things in those old songs. Here the intro and outro act together to perform a function similar to picture frame which separates the work of art from its surroundings: the intro braces us for the insanity that follows; and the outro eases us back into the real world. The dissonance of the guitar and bass create a wonderful tension that makes the outro compelling.

I've been spending the last several hours trying to figure out what they are doing on their new album. All I know for sure it sounds real good to these old ears!! It kind of sucks for me, because I am pretty sure I am listening to my album of the year in February. Hey Jon.. Another great reaction.. When I had my first child, I took a week off work to help my wife with him.. I did the night shift, you know, listening to make sure the nipper is still breathing.. You sound like me when my first daughter was born. She refused to sleep unless we held her so we had to take turns. Good thing Sweden allows for long parental leave... I listened to Lizzy, Maiden and Avantasia while walking around with my infant in my arms for several months... and now my sleep schedule is screwed, even 20 years later 😀 Still, I wish I had Lovebites in those days...

Miyako actually does music for all songs (riffs, solos, melodies), Midori only writes her own solos. Asami does lyrics first on japanese, than translates it to english. Miya even does some lyrics with keyboards stuff of course when needed. Thats why she is "Chopin of Metal" and my favorite. With every album they are showing how real metal should sound like. Lovebites is best metal band in the universe and nobody can tell me otherwise.
Thanks for another great reaction. Concerning the outro, I think it is an artistic choice to emphasize the concept of the eternal struggle between light and dark, good and evil. After the "end" of the song you have the rewinding sounds and you are right back at start, running from the evil, because you are never done watching out for your dark side. At least that's how I choose to interpret the song and video. Musically I am with you, but I am not mad that the outro is exactly the intro. Greetings from Germany
First of all, don't overload yourself I was once a daddy many moons ago and do recall many sleepless nights, I guess that's why I struggle with insomnia nowadays hahahahahha. It was all worth it in the end my 2 sons grew up to be excellent men and gave me 6 grandkids. You finally made it to the new songs which is awesome, this Lovebites journey with you has been amazing as we get to see your reaction and expressions on your face when these amazing ladies blow you away. Don't know if you've heard but they have released 3 more songs from the new album and the latest one is a killer tune "Stand and Deliver @Jonreacts plus the entire album was released yesterday and it is a banger. Super thanks to you and Joe for the awesome reaction videos. Just curious if you're going to notice the difference in songs, the first is by Mao and Asami and the second one is by Miyako and Asami. A word of advice, don't let your viewers dictate how to do your channel, if they are gonna get all pissy because of whatever let them leave there are plenty more where they come from.

After a fresh 6 hours of actual sleep, I can say that I was, in fact overloading myself. I'm gonna take your advice and slow down a little bit. These videos are fun for me, but I've been trying to rush to get stuff done before I go back to work. One mark of music I like is music that challenges my ear every time I listen to it. Lovebites qualifies because there is so much going on. Lovebites does it because they can. 😎 The Swedish pronunciation is Yngwie Malmsteen. Using Google translate it comes out Angy Monkeysteam.
The song is cool.... the shredding is blazing and melodic. The vocals are awesome. But that segment filmed in a place that resembles a gym? What is THAT? 🤔 It's like the Game of Thrones meets Olivia Newton John's "Physical". Couldn't they decorate those steel doors to look like the Gates of Hell or something? 👹 C'mon video guys... these girls deserve better.
I have one beef to settle with the so-called wolfpack of today, they are failing miserably in supporting the band on their channel, all of the songs from the new album that is only audio versions have less than 40 likes and minimal views. This is only because there is nothing to hear with their eyes, I am appalled and disgusted for them to call themselves a part of the wolfpack, no support swallow your visual pride and listen with your ears and show your support.
The music was shredded and its charm was also shattered. If you want to explain, why don't you play the disassembled video after playing it through? I'm angry that I'm dripping self-satisfaction until I upload it illegally. Haven't you seen the band's office?
