    What do you call pigeon peas where you’re from?

      Hi love your videos, where I'm from Puerto Rico we called them Gandules in Spanish . We make them
      With Rice and we called it arroz con Gandules.. It's very delicious 😋

    I've never eaten mbaazi in coconut. We just mash it up with potatoes where I'm from. Been wanting to go to coast for a long time and first agenda was to eat it. But now i can make it at home thanks to you. I'm stoked. Will let you know how my family of warus and supu take it 😂😂😂

    Am cooking a bit different by frying chopped onion followed by tomato paste garlic and coconut powder and water and I add boiled mbaazi na chilii. That's it

    So I just saw you boil your pigeon peas, does that mean I don't need to pressure cook?

    • @swahilifood
      @swahilifood  4 года назад

      You can, it would be a lot faster. I use mine a lot. This was for those that don’t have a pressure cooker 💕
