- Installing the Wide Angle Side Mirrors by SUMA Performance for 2016+ Honda Civic. On my car I have chosen to go with the Defroster option. You can also get a basic version without Defrost, and then the top of the line Defrost + Turn Signal option.

hi! I broke the white plastic part on the inside. can I buy a replacement of that? the white part that you are holding at 2:53, one tab on the center part of it. what is that part called?
What is this white piece called ?
what do you call the white mount? i broke mine and i don’t know how to find it. please help 😢
They sell the whole mirror with that white mount part at o reileys
Somehow my mirror glass got knocked out while I was away and this video helped me put it back. Thank you so much!!
At 0:53 what are those white screw like things called?
Did you ever find out what those prongs are called? I need to find them but can’t.
@@charlesgalloway6297 Did you get any info? I need to buy the pair for one of the mirrors...
Gotta ask the stupid question, but if you break those tabs removing the stock mirror, no big deal right? Just asking cause something always breaks when I fool with stuff like this :(
thx for the video, i got a different question and hopefully you know some tips. Have you notice tension issue on the sides mirrors? mine easily fold in or out when going through the carwash, they are very loose if you hand move them. Do you know a way to tie them? i looked photos diagram videos but nothing related to the tension adjustment if any. Thx
Hi Andrew
First I would say thank you for video
I had my driver side mirror broken and I booked an appointment with one of honda dealer Bobby Rahal to get it done. But here is what happens that on the day of my appointment they tried to de assembly the mirror but they broken down the Pronk of left right of the white part and didn't fix it and said that we ordered wrong parts and assembled the mirror back. Here is I don't know what they did during my appointment. So I have ordered the driver side mirror online and I have also tried to fix my mirror. During the de assembled I found that the dealer has broken down the left right pronk but still I am able to fix my mirror and now mirror is working and heating but due to left right pronk I am not able to power mirror for left and right.
Can you suggest me from where I should order that white part which is right after the mirror
Do,you still need help?
What’s the part number of the white thing you popped out from the original mirror? Even a name would help.
What happens if the joy stick thingy comes off, how do you put it back on?
Looks like the pins on my mirror messed up. How would I go about it? Can you just buy a mirror with the pins on it? It seems something in the motor side might have also broken
From Miami thanks for the video
It will help if you can answer some questions...
My left and right not working. Does that mean I need to use new motor?
What is the white piece called I need to replace that??
Did you ever find out the name or where to get that piece?
@@EAZYANG i had to replace the whole mirror unfortunately they don’t just sell the white piece by itself
SUMA performance mirror looked better than SPOON with 3M tape for Honda Civic TYPE R and SI Sport. 👍
How does the heater option work ? Since I won’t have the mirror defrost button?
If you don't have Defrost from factory, select the basic option that comes without any Defrost
Aegean Blue the type R don’t come with defrost mirrors . What bout the signal ?
Will I need to do wiring for the defrost to work on Civic Type R?
Not made for the type r 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂
My mirror won't pop back into place at all.
Well, second time doing this and still fucx it up 🤣 Honda make some really cheap ass side mirrors, now my passenger side mirror don’t go left and right.
UPDATE: I just repaired the mirror, for those still having issues with the installation, there’s a small ring holding the teeth of the alternator, if the ring is misplace the mirror won’t work properly. I will recommend installing the mount first and then push and press the mirror, make sure is clipped to the mount and you should be go to go.
👍👍👍
