@@livinginknoxville We’re actually looking to rent for the first 12-18 months and then be in the market for a house! I’m just trying to cold call apartments/townhomes right now and find out what’s available! My wife and I will be visiting Knoxville in about a week to tour the area.

I live in Tennessee. Why the hell would I live anywhere else.
The majority of your residents are renters. The homes are over 300k and up. Inflation doesn't help and many corporations are buying up the land and building cookie cutters throughout Knoxville. It's a win for the Companies and not the homeless.
So are there no tax reductions on paychecks? Am I understanding this correctly?
Yes there is a federal income tax in all states but we do not have the additional state income tax
Is the property in Sevierville more expensive than Knoxville
Depends on the area but usually not
