Not boring. I just fixed our machine using the "secret" codes available by rotating the main knob L+R+R+R+L+R all within 6 seconds. Now I'm wondering if it would make sense to permanently disable the lid-lock. No kids in this household and from time to time, I wish I could just pop the lid to add one more forgotten article of clothing. Thanks for the vid.
Not a high efficiency washer. Does not save more water just energy. I guess it saves a bit of water due to the spray rinse. Speed Queen washers are designed for commercial applications so it makes sense they are still allowed to make traditional washers with a Normal Eco cycle which is a spray rinse instead of deep rinse. Some of the older machines just used a lower water level for the rinse cycle. I believe some of the older GE’S and some of the Whirlpool direct drives had that.
I had a similar washer but let's be honest I know a lot of people hate this washer but the rollover was good in these machines but I hated my Centennial because the sensor detector broke which caused the machine to leak water so much.
Washer is dirty on top and inside agitator. How would you clean that out? , Don't see any soap in the clothes. Does have a lot of water though. How old is the washer?
It actually does. It might be a Welling as well who knows. I’m not exactly good at the motor brands companies use but that’s not very important information. But it can be one of those unknown motors.
Jay VEVO Ikr it does. I want a maytag just like this washer I like it too me because you can put a lot of clothes in the wager and it still washes and still comes out clean
I hate to tell you this. But I do not have that washer anymore. I now have an Amana would you like me to do one of that? Also my grandma has a whirl pool ultimate care two would you like me to do a small or medium load of that
+BroccoliBeefed There is no inherent advantage of spin drains over neutral drains. At least with neutral drain you dont have to worry about a sock or small articles of clothing getting caught vetween inner and outer tubs.
I love this washer.
That is a cool washing machine Mr Fergee!
I saw your comment
I know you did
Sounds like a Roper washing machine
the motor just sounds so cool!

Might wanna consider cleaning the lint/mold.
The motor on this machine is pretty quiet, the pump is probably louder than the motor. The newer VMWs have a louder motor than this.
I love the sound i am getting sleepy just listening
This is more of a bloom than a rollover due to the 360 degree agitation.

so the part that it goes in to spin and stops quickly that's called a practice spin so its normal for it to stop quickly right after it goes into spin
That washer spins fast

Too much water but it got the job done! Nice video kid! 😉

If you had selected the fabric softener option, you would have gotten an automatic deep rinse.

My friend has that washer!
I saw the video it's a great video I have a whirlpool laundry and it does not have a that locks
Nice cycle
Washer is dirty on top and inside agitator. How would you clean that out? , Don't see any soap in the clothes. Does have a lot of water though. How old is the washer?
The lid is filthy. I can only imagine 1pod and cold water. You have a bacterial colony growing inside the machine.
italia01139 couldn't imagine not boil washing towels, wouldn't even come out clean on cold
Why?
Dude, he's only a kid, come on hahah
Nice video I love whirlpool washers
Have the Amana version of this. Decent washer overall.
Why does the auger go counter clockwise even when it does not have agitator dogs to make it go counter clockwise
because of the friction between the bottom part and the top part.
woa! out of balance load!
So you got a direct drive now I see
I bought one today in Panama 😊. 👍

Clean your dirty machine
No
Why do you have to stick your nose in how he treats his machine?
My dad has that same washer!
It’s so much better to wash
how old is your whirlpool washer now?
My guess is probably right around 9 years, maybe 8.
This washer was only three years old and it was as dirty as the kids in the alleyway. How???
My agitator looks like the same as yours
mr fergee we need a talk

I’m disappointed that this washer never did the late lock. I wish all those 2010 700 Rpm washers did that.
@@laundryandtrainman2467 Late Lid Lock didn’t come out until like 2015. Whirlpool VMW washers manufactured from 2010 - 2015 do not have lid locks.

neutral drain i hate them i like spin drains
+Kenmore Washer , spin drains allow for more water extraction, and take less time, think about it
that equals to the washer not lasting as long as it should
+BroccoliBeefed There is no inherent advantage of spin drains over neutral drains. At least with neutral drain you dont have to worry about a sock or small articles of clothing getting caught vetween inner and outer tubs.
Why is there shit all over the lid ? Does it flip it upward while washing the stains out of your underpants ??? 👍🏻💩🤔
I seen this video and it didn't flip
Yeah noobie
