Hey! Thank you so much! I am writing from Athens, Greece. Yesterday the video from Sounds True appeared on my i-phone and today this. It really takes me out of my addiction of misery, depression and isolation right now and puts me in front of my responsibility for my own traumas the traumas of my country and my society and those of the whole planet. Great conversation! I would respectfully disagree with the notion that we need to dismantle the system though. I used to feel that way but then realized my resistance was feeding into that very system I claimed to be opposing. Once I stopped focusing my energy on that resistance and start accepting and letting go then that system of dysfunction inside myself falls away more and more each day. Equally on a societal level I would echo the line of thought from Charles Eisenstein that trying to do more to change the system is ineffective. The system is collapsing on it's own accord. I need to simply focus on service toward building the new society that will rise from the ashes.
Ahhh! My 2 favorite teachers. I love these conversations around addiction that aren't constrained by 12 Steps dogma. "Global Movement Towards Wholeness." Count me in! I pre-ordered the book and can't wait until Sept 3rd. Love you both.

Thank you Seane and Tomas. Pain and pleasure are two sides of the same coin. I hate to ask the question, have they got that problem in South Sudan eating disorders or gambling or shopping? Alcohol and drugs are a different subject. I think we should observe ourselves, without a conditioned mind,ego emotions, and the other poisons of the mind self centeredness.....
I guess it's trauma when your parents beat you and put you out in the dark Forest and tell you there's a demon that's going to get you if you don't stop crying 🤔🤫
