After Solidworks acquired bunkspeed, I was hoping some very in-depth integration of the two. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. Imagine being able to have full control of the feature tree, SW time line, configurations and they working the same in visualize. We can only hope.

The UI is very old, seems like this video is from 2017. There's a lot of improvements to the UI and also to the functions.

We tried to use Solidworks Visualize in our workflow but it turned out to be completely bugged and unstable. Totally not worth the money.

Bummer to hear that.
Solidworks user since 1997 here. Always wanting a simple render situation, within solidworks. Seems we haven’t quite gotten there yet.
Looking at visualize for the first time today instead of photo view 360. Your experience bums me out :(
