They collabed with The Oak Ridge Boys and Jeffrey East on Beautiful Star of Bethleham. It has that southern gospel feel too. And they did a cover of My Church which to me has the southern gospel feel too.
Bette Midler, Tanya Tucker & the late Helen Reddy all recorded this song in the 1970s. WIhere's also a live version of Home Free singing this with Maggie Baugh and it's sensational. They are the perfect collaborators, always ensuring the guest has the spotlight and backing them up with perfect harmonies, singing & beatboxing. If you haven't seen their collaboration with the Oak Ridge Boys of "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" - THAT will totally take you to church!
All I know about Brooke is that she was on American Idol about 10-12 years ago. The boys did this in AZ at an old western town. Austin got up there and all the boys did well. Certainly could hear Tim’s lows. Good one!!!
Has Home Free ever earned a hellbaw from you? If so I certainly missed it. They went full cowboy in this one, loved it, and the music was fantastic, as usual. I love their collaborations with others, and this one was just gorgeous. Btw, they've released the first song with their new member recently. It's called Something To Talk About. Totally worth it to check it out. Thanks for the reaction.
Absolutely a YEEHAW from me too! #HomeFree never disappoints and their collabs are fantastic! If you haven't already, check out their collab on "The Horses" feat. Travis Collins and Amy Sheppard, it's wonderful too.
Such a great song! Bette Midler did it first in 1971 but I remember Tanya Tucker & Helen Reddy's versions. The guys did a really nice job backing up Brooke Eden on this song. They never take away from a guest vocalist. And how cool did they all look dressed in the western theme. Reminded me of the Clint Eastwood spaghetti western movies I used to watch.
You know that HF has a talent for finding just the right person to "feature", right? If I recall, they had her as an opener for some of their concerts last (?) year.
If you want to see another great collaboration, check out HomeFree with Maggie Baugh singing Dolly Partons "From Here to the Moon and Back." It is just beautiful and was one of the concerts that I got to attend. HomeFree guys always do the best collaborations.💙🔥💙
Maggie's voice melds perfectly with Home Free. She was touring with them about the same time this video came out and there is a live stage version of Delta Dawn with Maggie instead of Brooke. And both sound terrific.
Brooke Eden destroys this song. She constantly shakes her head from side to side as if she is disagreeing with the content or maybe has some sort of palsy.
This one (like all others) is pretty awesome. It is one of my many favorites from Home Free. I wholeheartedly agree about Brooke’s voice! She’s got that tone and vibrato that meld so well with the guys! Austin definitely went into the rafters at the end, and Tim went into deep depths, too! Loved your comparison to Nitty Gritty sound. As soon as you said it, I agreed with a resounding “yes!”. Really great reaction and review!
This song is an old favorite. I still have Bette Midler's version in my playlist. Did you notice Austin is looking like Blondie, aka the Man with No Name here, right down to the same poncho. He's missing the cheroot though.
As much as you enjoyed this one, You really need to check out "When Will I Be Loved" Both the song itself is great and the video theme is the best possible tdea to pair with the song. Won't ruin it for you any more than the thumbnail will. Its the kinda song I like to listen to after being bombarded with our garbage media to set me back right. And on that note thanks for what you do, even if I have a different opinion than what you express in a video, you always seem to be a neighbor I would want in the neighborhood.
I love Home Free but the female singer is hell naw! She continually shakes her head as if she is suffering from some type of palsy. So distracting to the wonderful group of Home Free. And apparently no one has ever told her that shaking her head from side to side means no. Someone really needs to school her on vocality and movements. As good as this song is, I can't watch it because of Brooke Eden.

Another great song. Brook Eden fits perfectly with the boys. She has a great voice.❤️❤️❤️❤️
You know by now that any Home Free is a "yeehaw" 😊❤
Home Free are masters of collaboration. They know how to showcase without upstaging whoever they are working with. Great reaction.
Yes! Thank you!

Brooke Eden slayed the national anthem in London at last year's NFL game there.
Really superb. Totally agree that this has that gospel hymnal choir sound. It's Tim's bass that rocks me in this one.
This is one that still gives chill bumps, no matter how many times you listen. Especially at the end!

Sing it AUSTIN ❤

@@berlyn3014you’re a home fry!?? Awesome!
One of my favorites! They all sound so great on it and I love Maggies voice.

Oh I love their collabs with Texas Hill, Lee Greenwood, Don McLean, Oak Ridge boys…oh heck everyone they collaborated with!!!!
I agree. This is one of their all time best. I get a little silly in the privacy of my car when this comes up on my play list. 😂🎶🥰
Love #HomeFree and #BrookeEden
This is such a beautiful song, and they do it more than justice. Home Free + Brooke Eden = ❤🔥Love your reaction!

This is so good! But I can’t watch the video without thinking about the BTS with Tim having to hold on to his hat so it doesn’t fly off 😂😂
Agree with your comments!

Bless Brooks little heart our boys are so tall she had to stand on a box to sing with them ! Ain't she sweet?
Great song from Home Free. The song Delta Dawn with the new guy stunk. He's no AUSTIN that's for sure
