Cement does not expire after 3 month of manufacturing, Its strength start reducing after 3 month. Its strength will fall 20% each month after 3 month of manufacturing. We do conduct various test and use it for right job. SAVE MATERIAL SAVE ENVIRONMENT

its the props to the beam and arches which shall be removed after 14 days (for spans up to 6 mt) and 21 days (for spans greater than 6 mt), not the slabs... (IS-456, CL 11.3.1)
. Steam curing is curing in water vapor at atmospheric or higher pressures. When cured at atmospheric pressure, the enclosure temperatures are usually between 40 and 70°C (100 to 160°F). Steam curing is used where early strength gain is needed and where heat is required for hydration, such as in cold weather.
Initial setting time should be - 30 to 90 minutes .
Final setting time should be - 600 minutes mean (10) hours.

Question: (high rise structures) on my site a beam size is 600mm * 230mm is in a sher wall, the steel in beam is 32 dia and the development length is 42 d. When I placed this beam the top steel ld is more than the length of the length and no space in the sher wall to adjust the ld. in this situation i think the top steel bars ld is keep in the upward vertical direction without compromise the development length. it is right or worng plz explain in detail.

I think de shuttering of beams is wrong you mentioned 6m span of slab as per Is code 456 for beam more than 6m props removing time 21 days less than 6 is 14 days, for slabs span less than 4 .5 m is 7 days and more than 4.5m 14 days
