Hi Teresa, if you have no supplies at all then a few basics are gesso, a set of acrylic paints and a couple of brushes. Buy cheap supplies just in case you don't like using them. My book is made mostly from grocery bags, a cheap scrapbook or composition book will do. I find things around the house to stamp with, like bubble wrap and a suction soap holder. I also look for stamps & impression making items in the kids section, duplo or leggo blocks are great for stamping. Cheers
