I think the standard of Little Mix’s work is much higher than the average girl pop band. I think because they’re each amazing singers; all of them can actually sing.
And also bc they harmonize together really well and got each other's back whenever something happens (like the time Jesy fell down the stairs and tore off her ligaments and the others carried out the concert without her)

Like most artists when they collab with one other person and can harmonize with them everyone is like “ommmggg soooo good!” like they are all so different in their style and tone and they sound like one person when they sing together!! Plus they legit have Britney Spears level dance breaks who is a trained dancer so like....just props to them. They are icons.
I love how professionals and casual are...I mean, they mess around on concerts and they don't worry about it. They are just themselves outside, on interviews or live and that's AMAZING. I love them so much 💗💗💗💗
I really appreciate when performers go even when they are sick or cant fully do the concert. Going to see your favouritr artist is always a super special moment and some artists forget how much it means to people.
I feel the exact opposite about this issue. I wish they would just cancel or reschedule if they are not feeling OK. Makes me feel so bad for them trying to sing when they can't stop coughing. I think people should understand that this happens to everyone and prefer them to stay home & recover rather than force themselves to sing & risk potential damage to their vocal cords.

they’ve lip synced in nearly every non acoustic performance, it doesn’t take away from their talent as they’re protecting their voices and doing hundreds of shows with 90 minute sets, but it’s delusional to pretend they don’t when u can search up so many videos or even just listen to the tracks matching across performances

Jesy is so versatile, she has amazing alto range which makes Little Mix harmonies so rich and she still has that standard female pop range higher up but with grit and real emotional texture. She is also a great crisp rapper, spits great improv verse, not just their songs with rap sections; and her beat boxing is damn impressive! Actually improv is a general Little Mix strength and how in tune they are figuratively, mentally and musically 😃💕🎶

I can never hear myself while singing in group, but it's always okay because when you do a song a lot of time like they do, it's OK, you remember it and it's fine

Their harmonies do fall apart sometimes when they can’t hear themselves or each other. I wasn’t trying to sway perception one way or the other I just used the most convenient clips tbh. In my reply, I was just trying to explain why I expect it to not go smoothly every time. But like you said they work their asses off and practice and they listen to each other and adjust in the harmony as they go as they’ve shown in acoustics. I imagine it’s much harder and takes more trust when you do it in arenas with screaming fans and maybe a faulty in-ear though so that’s why it’s in the video. That’s all 🙂

The reason why they can go from the track to live is because it was practiced like that so it wasn't the first time they did it, they were also probably singing while the track was playing and they just turned their mics on. And for them outside, they just know their their parts really well. They are still a great group and I do love them so much, but it all just amounts to practice and being able to redirect their thoughts to the right part of the song
With like the parts where they come out of the chorus and get straight into the harmonies gets easier the more you do it. It's kind of like the harmony they sing becomes their lead. That's what it's like to me I automatically sing my harmonies even when there are no people to harmonize with. It just kind of happens
Can we all agree that Curtis the LM acoustic guitarist is 1: a world class talented guitarist; 2: The luckiest accompanying musician in the world to be right next to LM during their live acoustic performances all these years.
I'm here after seeing the news that Jesy left the group for the sake of her mental health. So sad but still supporting her no matter. I hope someday that Little Mix would be again. My OT4. Just also hope that other mixers will gather now and show their full support for the girls. Let's help them guys to win many and more awards before anything else happen. mmcc I’m planning to do a sort of sequel to little mix and the mixmen but an lm5 edition. It won’t be hot moments per say but rather like interactions that show their friendship, how the dancers support them on stage, etc.
This really proves how hard they work as a group, to get their vocal parts so effortless that they can keep going even when things go awry. Mad respect.
I appreciate that even though the girls are like laughing at the bee they never try and like “take over” Leigh’s part or make a joke at her expense or anything. They know she’s super scared of bugs and that’s that! They aren’t gonna try and “save” the performance by singing her part or anything which is really respectful cause we all know they can all sing whatever they want to.
