- Logan Duvall has worked for Holley Performance for just over a year. Little did we know that all this time he and his family were building one of the most serious demolition derby cars to hit metal with metal. At the same time he's been working on perfecting a brand new set of Flowtech derby headers that are now available. They are perfect for demo derby competitors, truck pullers, or mud racers alike!

Damn..... I haven't been in a derby in 15 years.... Man how the times and the cars have changed...
Is it worth it?
people do to much and then it’s not fun and watching car like that we’re their creased they don’t get bent a lot then it’s not fun watching
Love this car wish I could’ve seen it run
Kyle Kallies same

Such a bad ass rig, thing is beasty af!
I have seen you at a derby my name is Jason and I love you to watch your videos you have really great cars
I want a street legal car, with this kind of exaust system.
Nice for a saturday ride, down town
Diebels Alt probably to loud to be legal.
I take my chances, when i hit the road
feller where im from in newfoundland had a 77 newyorker that he ran in like 11 different derbys or something, won a few, and this past derby it finally called er quits! the body completely ripped off the chassis it was insane
can u show more and explain more on cars plz id like to know what u guys all do to the frame and suspension thanks but love the video keep it up
good luck.. a lot of stuff is trade secret
I put my 604 crate late model motor in a demo derby car so I could run demo derbies it gave us 460 hp and we can modify almost everything on it like this car. And up right headers help to keep motor cool and to keep your exhaust from getting smashed up and breaking bolts off into the heads
Love you headers I'm get me set some day for my cars
I have never seen a Derbyshire car this heavily armored? Is this thing even legal to run?? It looks like a post Apocalyptic Zombie / Mad Max Beast! A Ford powered by a Built CHEVY is Priceless! HAHA
I like your videos
Lawrence Eich it is legal, depending on where you run
Probably built for full weld or outlaw
Lawrence Eich that car is legal but in some derbys u can't run a distributor protector
But he might not have one I doesn't say
one hell of a car
People in Elmira NY build demolition derby cars 6 months in advance before the demolition derby at the Chemung county fair in Horseheadds NY. The American pickers would pay a lot of money if they found and bought the original demolition derby car that Stoney Roberts drove in the demolition derby
What was in the car that looked like a small mig welder.
That a nice derby car
.... engine cage???? Who built that? Also are you running an outlaw class?
Nice
What kinda engine is that
small block chevy
what brand and size of tire on the front? and what wheel?
Alaen Ramirez Moreno look like dodge d50 wheels with 5x15 forklift tires
This video is very inspiring to me 👍👍!! This is what I want to do when I get older, and tough truck. Any suggestions of where to start off with this dream of mine ?
Rj Titan Studios start off with small car demos and big car
Titan Studios better have some money
What do yall use for creasing the body?
Usually an air hammer with an custom made bit.
@@gwynnejustice8263 ok thanks
That's a legal KY Derby Car lol
DemoDerbyDude 777 and Indiana and Ohio it's legal too.
So shiny. So chrome.
im not at all knowledgeable about derby cars, so what's the deal with what looks like a rotor and caliper attached to the back of the driveshaft?
Driveline brakes instead of at the wheel
So you can lock up the wheels so you don't neutral drop your tranny while sliding backwards or forwards
It also could be a pinion brake.
what kind of tires you have on the car
I belive 27.850.15 forklift tires are what he has
Anyone know what the red hoses going to the exhaust are? Crankcase ventilation or just some armored up sensor wires? Pretty damn epic sweet car!
I'm just guessing, but I think its gas. That way it shoots flames, basically for show. But like I said, Its a guess.
It's a relief valve coming from the crank case so the pressure doesn't get to high...
crankcase evac hoses, pull Alot of the heat outta the bottom end, some say they are pointless.
Dakota Whalen they are pointless really for the most part there is a pratical reason for them but to explain why would take up to much space on hear
Catrik 2hywp63
I'm building a car with that car. P71 crown Victoria cop car edition
derby car! dang auto correct!
wish this was my daily driver.j just add a few lights😠
dirty Mushroom - Holly Bubba of course.
from iowa
This does look extremely heavy to be a derby car I agree would it even be legal
Dalton Harms 60s full frame Imperials are even heavier from factory and the let those cars run in a couple of places near Northeastern Indiana and Western Ohio.
Just a solid built kicker car.
yes u do

they r could evac tubes
That's a fuckin race car not a derby car!
Leuschen 779 no it isn't it's a full weld car.
Wayyyyyy to much work just for a derby car
@@REDD_NECKERSON this is why alot of guys like me got out of it. People like this break the bank building a car for 15min of fame and a trophy. Back in the late 90s we got 100$ for winning a heat and 500$ for winning the feature. Thats if you won. Youd have twice that in a good built car back then and it wasnt close to what these guys do. There are some derbys with 20,000$+ purses but then your entry fee is 1500$/2000$ to run. And if you dont win your shit outta luck. People took it way too far. Not fun anymore.
Well if you run shock that means you're not a mechanic and you can't work on cars a lot of people send a lot of money and time into these cars and if your a real derby car driver you would run at big shows like blizzard bash and one heat at blizzard bash is at least 30 minutes long and those car are built exact same way he built that car
@@hunterbradshaw9152which guy you talking to here? If its me ive been a ford technician at a dealership for 22yrs.
No I was just saying in General
He builds cars for big derbies with a huge payout.
Very expensive to run in unlimited class….I’d rather gut and go.
I don’t get why you’d be a nice motor in a shit car that’s going to get destroyed. Why does a big motor matter?
because he has a good time and he is a damn good driver. idk why your on here talking shit when your prolly on your couch complaining atleast he’s doing something he loves.
You need to put some money in a engine to keep it from overheating quick and to push people around.
