It's coming up to 3 months of him ignoring me. It's very hard. The nastiness of it. That audio you had of the dumper saying they want to see we "don't need closure" sorry but that's cruel. If I dump someone, I always agree to meet them if they say they need closure. And he dumped me by text a million times. Never in person. He was despicable and it's sad and pathetic that I miss him and wish he'd come back. Sometimes tbh I wish I hadn't asked "how are you?" just to be ignored. But I trust in your wisdom Vincent so I hope you're right lol. It doesn't matter anymore. If he came back it's too late, it would only be for my closure now. He's insulted me too much.
What?! You’re not supposed to try to work on issues that they are saying they are breaking up with you for? They never talked to you about these issues before and they don’t want any solutions so when you try to present reasonable solutions and remind them that you two were really happy and appreciated each other while being deeply in love together, that makes them lose respect for you?!?! Absolute bullshit. How shallow can people be?! If you aren’t hurt when someone is breaking your heart then you don’t care about them. Being blindsided is cruel and abusive.
Being blindsided is incredibly painful and at the time of the breakup you can definitely try to see if there is a way to work through things and resolve problems. However, if someone is adamant that the relationship is over, then they can’t be persuaded otherwise. The only way to reconnect from that point is for them to regrow romantic, emotional attraction and that is likely to take time. Stay positive and remember that with or without your ex, you can have a positive future.
