There is this mower brand called bad boy mowers (there in America) it has a much better deck and it will cut down feilds of long uncut grass, i have never had to service it other than the regualar oil change and check all of the enginy parts.
Great video Daggerwin!! Was curious though, and I apologize if you already said it in the video, but what was the name of the product you used to clean the top of the deck after the power washing, and what was the name of the coating you used on the bottom of the deck? Keep up the great work!
I found your machinery restorer channel. But can you make a copy paste of your channel info in every video's description? If you are talking of a second channel, that is the first place I look to find it.
I don’t wear gloves but some people do because it’s easy because you can just chuck them in the bin but when you get your hands covered in grease and oil it’s a pain to wash

I personally would have threw a wire brush on a angle grinder and gave the underside a once over before painting it. Either way the paint will help

You can buy a Karcher HDS9/18-4 M, and just spray it for 5 sec.
That deck looks like it's got mulch on demand so when in long grass u should be able to open the side
Can I ask the chemical you sprayed on the top deck to clean it? Would be useful to get some

Was that black stuff an anti-rust primer? I use that on my wire trailer. Seems like it needs it every year.
All I would have to say is next time get a wire brush for the surface rust it will do a even better job.

Why don't you put dowel pegs in the holes then pull them out when the paint is dry?

Cleaned with engine degreaser (Not to be used on some painted surfaces) and coated with Bitumen
