Thanks for all the comments & interest. Regarding the M3, I don't reckon its too tight, just depends on how big ya kahoooonas are, in relation to how hard you push it! You'll have a bloooody brilliant time either way, as it's an awesome track!
Nice going (when it was clear). Looks like a nicely set up Nova, 2litre engine? Perfect for a tight and twisty circuit like Cadwell. Dodgy conditions there, but I still am frequently struck with disbelief by the way some people drive on track days. Don't blame the old 911 driver for not pressing on very hard though :)
Thanks for the comments chap - such a shame the car no longer exists! Can't believe this was a year ago, almost to the day! This was my first time at Cadwell, as you can tell by my other videos, but by far my favourite circuit!
Nice one, as usual Olly. You make the other drivers look like they are all on constant "in-laps". How slow were some of them? lmfao at the E36 rear spoiler - man after my own heart eh mate?! Been invited to take the old M3 there soon - reckon it will be too tight for the car?
Awesome vid mate, went round cadwell the other day (first time on a track) in my mates Clio, hoping to go round in my rx8 soon but won't be able to get round anywhere near as fast as that red top!
@needajoint, it was broken for parts and sold as bits in December 08, so this was one of it's last outings, after here we did Donington again a couple of times
That is surprising, especially consideringat the chikane at 7:15 where you have massive wheel spin over the jump. The cornering speed, and your understeer issues must be the damp track then (or poor tires maybe)? I see your point at 9:43 - that went well :-)
great videos! im a huge nova fan i have just put a v6 vectra engine in my k plate no have no idea what bhp its pushing out as yet so will have to get on the rollers very soon, whats bhp is that monster?
Was on Toyo 888 semi slick tyres, going over the mountain the car goes very light, thus the wheel spin yet I kept my foot in! haha You can see how damp and how much standing water is around 7m 13s... was a very damp track!
Yes bud thats the car, round front wings from a saloon, so I could lower the car more without clearence problems :-) The car has been broken for parts now!
Its been 15 years since I last owned a red top Nova...this brings back happy memories! Most impressive how yours handles!
This circuit is amazing, the curves are perfect and a good car, fantastic, you have hands of gold friend.
RESPECT man you can drive
Fantastic driving mate. In a quality car too! Very impressed

quality driving, shows how quik u are when theres no one in the way
The car had a Quaife straight cut gearset, with a ZF plate 90% LSD... you'd never get turn in and grip like 9m 43s without one!
good driving. what brakes are u using??
this Nova doesn't have particulary have major massive power, it has 197.7bhp @ 7620rpm, its all about the piloting! :-)
in a straight line? under no traction load - i would doubt it very much
a CV could have popped easily if I had any lock on mind
Yes bud thats the car, round front wings from a saloon, so I could lower the car more without clearence problems :-)

lol the clue is in the title mate :-) 26-Oct-2008

Amature trackdays are not COMPETITIVE events.
Spelling is for experienced adults, not children.
I bet you want an LSD for your birthday :-)
What are people doing driving so slow? you seem to be the only one that is aware that it´s a track day.
