    Some other radiologist when commenting on an x ray and mentioning different signs the just assume that students know what are theses signs are
    So please when commonting on an x ray keep explaining it and the different signs nice and easy

    How do the lung marks look like?

      Hi - the lung markings represent the vessels in the lung and can be seen as thin white lines which branch out from the hilum and get smaller as you get to the periphery

      In pneumothorax you lose this completely and can just see black

      Then look for the thin white pleural line paralleling the chest wall
