In my honest opinion, this movie was good for the first half. The introductory wartime compilation, the opening plot, and this scene were all solid. Everything after that fell short.

You and me both. It's not a great movie, but I always have fun watching him. For me is that type of movie that you watch on a lazy boring day when you only want to have fun or with your friends.

Probably the best badass wolverine moment in all the X-Men movies.
Without a doubt. The rage in Logan's scream is the most real of any Hugh Jackman every achieved. Classic moment, regardless of whether or not you liked the movie overall.

The acting and special effects plus the dramatic lines and scenes really mad me love this movie. I haven't seen Logan, but I have no intention of seeing the tragic ending of my favorite heroes!
Watch the movie it is good. Just know that it is one ending of a time period of his live. Just one of the ways he could die. And it is like way way WAY in the future. That is the beauty of that film. You could see it as the last film of the franchise. ( In that case all movies of the wolverine after are just pieces in between.) Or you see it as a parallel dimension. You know like the Doktor strange 2 movie
2:40 the claw physiology is so interesting. Just constantly has 3 "bones" between the radius and ulna so he'd have to have like extra muscles to push and pull them in and out. Any comic fans that can explain how it works if it ever was?
He had the claws from birth, as one of his mutations, they are made of bone. From X-Men #75 and Wolverine 25 where Magneto pulls the adamantium out of his body, that is where this fact is discovered. Without the adamantium, they can be broken, but they regenerate.
FYI, if you want a really good read on the whole process of what was done to him, find and read Wolverine: Weapon X by Marc Cerasini. This movie shows and explains so little of it, and they do it so badly. The book is based on an actual Marvel comic story arc, and is incredibly detailed.

In the comic, the claws usually pop more upward from the radius and ulna. The movies however show the ulna and radius popping apart to let his claws cut through his bones and ligaments.
Well, thank god his claws were sharpened when they were formed. Imagine him getting blunt blades that you can't really sharpen.
Yeah that's always confused me. That and how the metal claws came out straight and even when they're literally just covering his original bone claws, which are round and uneven

Isn’t x24 prime Wolverine? X24 is stronger, Old Logan is more experienced, therefore was able to keep up...at least that’s how I understand it
@@patrickkubinec7026 I may be wrong as I’m referring to a similar discussion under another video. Apparently x-24’s skeleton may not completely be made of adamantium, requiring the green serum you see in “Logan” to fully heal him after heavy fights. So wolverine in his prime would be slower than x-24 but in a prolonged fight he would certainly win thanks to the superior healing factor and durability.

A question that I haven't seen asked before: how does Logan doesn't die from blood loss? New blood cells are created inside the bones, at the marrow, but with the adamantium coating the bones completely, and is not a permeable matter, no new blood cells would be released into the body, and with the average red blood cell lasting between 3-4 months, Logan can't replenish his blood cells anymore.
And I haven't lost any sleep over it, just trying to see how deep I can poke at a story's universe & rules until it starts breaking down.
I would assume that his healing factor also replenishes blood, as he has been shown in comics and live action to be near enough obliterated and still stood back up after major traumatic blood loss
His Bones are made of a unique form known as Adamantium Beta, created when it bonded with his bones and his healing factor. It doesn't inhibit normal bone functions due to them occurring constantly by way of said Healing Factor. He's the only known existence of the Beta variant. His entire existence with Adamantium in totality is owed to that Healing.
Watching this as a medical student, I can say, no way in hell his carpals should have moved like that 😂

So as a whole, this scene was really cool. The uprising roar was badass af. Not taking anything away from that. Just the tiny nuisance I find funny is when he does the “X” slash through the door. The 4 small pieces of metal in the center should just fall out seeing as they’ve just been cut in all 4 directions but nope. They’re just like “pfft. Screw gravity.” 😂

Apocalypse: Logan had this weird head thing that was supposed to remotely control him, but later he's just a berserker.
When Logan was on the run after he lost his memory Stryker captured him a second time and forced him back in the weapon x program and that’s why Wolverine was in x men apocalypse

Even though this movie sucked it still gave us one of the most badass and iconic scenes in not just the live action Wolverine and X-Men histories but also in the comic book film world.
This is how the movie should’ve ended, it should’ve been about Logan and Victor’s journey through modern history and their eventual transformations into Wolverine and Sabertooth. The post credit scene could’ve been how Victor changed into the Sabertooth we see in X-Men (2000)

This was always kind of odd to me, these were supposed to be bad guys who did this to him, but really it was the best thing anyone had ever done for Wolverine. They made him much more powerful, cool, and indestructible. Wolverine should have thanked them
it did and didnt help him. yes it made him indestructable but it also later in his years gave him metal poisoning which slowed his healing as shown in LOGAN
