Heartbroken that the blue Scooby Doo snacks are gone. I’ve seen a couple videos like this but you put together a great list and love the addition of the commercials! I forgot how much a commercial can also be part of the experience of these items.
sweetarts ropes used to actually be called kazoozles, and were discontinued and brought back by sweetarts. kazoozles used to have this bangin blue raspberry punch flavor tho, i still miss it.
i loved icebreakers liquid ice bc they looked like pretty little jewels. they WERE bitter and too strong, but i sort of liked that too? XD i liked to push myself to endure them

My favorite discontinued snack is Strawberry Oatmeal Delights Pop-tarts. I know that sounds disgusting, and it did to me at first too, but it wasn’t really oatmeal. It was a strawberry jam pop-tart that had an oat crumble and drizzle of strawberry frosting on top. They were soooo friggen good! I used to have them for breakfast before school. Some people said they were a little messy with the oats, but I never had a problem with that, and even if so, they were still so worth it!
I got so excited when you mentioned Candystand! So many happy memories of just playing flash games and not having a care in the world. I don't think I ever tried the creme savers candy before though lol. Also I'm sure if they ever got rid of the strawberry shortcake ice cream bars there would be actual protests.
The colored ketchup was my FAAVVVVV. But I remember it coming out advertising Jim Carey's The Grinch in 2000. I don't remember if it was Heins but that green ketchup tasted SOOOOO much better than the regular!! I still crave it to this day 😆
I loooooved green ketchup so much. So many people hated it and I didn't understand why. I would take it to school with me for my tater tots. It dyed all of my insides green though I'm sure lol
Kissables SLAPPED also, I went through a childhood fixation with the Wonka Bars that came out around the time of the remake of Willy Wonka. They were like chocolate bars with graham crackers in them!
The discontinued snack that comes to mind for me is the Hostess Chocodile, which is basically just a Twinkie covered in chocolate but it still by far my favorite product they've ever had. They do periodically bring back products they've discontinued, so we can always hope!
I was able to try Orbitz as a 7 year old and I LOVED IT. I was so sad and didn't understand why they didn't keep making it. My child brain didn't understand it. It was sorta like Boba. Way less Chewy. It felt a little bit like the popping Boba.
My favorite discontinued food was the popsicle banana, root beer and lemon lime popsicle packs. Those were SO GOOD!!! Ugh I wish I could still eat them now 🥲
Bruh the ice breakers liquid ice- I remember my mom got them for me when they were a new thing and I was a curious kid so of course I was all, "I wonder how strong I'd have to squeeze this to pop it? Will it be less minty that way?" And proceeded to get squirted directly into my eyeball 😭 I spent like 20 minutes rinsing my eye- and an fyi if you rinse with cold water it hurts more (I was like 7 so I didn't have any idea)🙃 but yeah I was super careful after that and never bought them again lol

I was born in 1978 and I actually miss all of these 😂😩😩😂 Orbitz was kind of AMAZING. My mom bought cases of it. It tasted good, and it was novel. The balls, if I recall?? I just swallowed them with the fluid, and I k ow I chewed a couple up out of curiosity and they were rather flavorless. But they sure did stay suspended. Altoids also stopped making licorice, ginger and cinnamon flavor although I think cinnamon is back. In the grout wrinkle era there were these Keebler cheddar twists that seemed to travel together! I think parents thought these were healthy and kids liked them just fine. Yogos…I STILL look for them. Like maybe there’ll show back up, crème savers did after all. On the same note life savers made these fruit and cream lollies and I’d spend a hundred bucks to have a blueberry or strawberry again 😩 I’m pretty far in and I don’t know how Ecto cooler has not been mentioned yet. Not a day goes by that I don’t have a pang of grief. Oh girl, those snack wraps were amazing…along with the salads. Just had this talk tonight!!! Hubby and I were like WHY CANT WE JUST GET A SNACK WRAP AND SHAKEY SALAD anymore?!? And McDonald’s used to have gogurt in their happy meals and that’s some BS. I've seen the cheetos asteroids and 3D mini doritos in stores currently, so they must've brought them back. I know the cheetos asteroids have been in stores for the past 3 or 4 years i think.🤔 i havent tried them yet though i think my favorite on this list is the fruit loops straw.
