In 1987 I was an airbrush photo retoucher/illustrator working freelance at JP Advertising in Burbank, CA,,, they did movie poster mock ups and black and white newspaper ads for Disney, Universal, and Warner Bros. In those days, ads had to be designed in a variety of sizes,, we would collage the ads and airbrush areas that needed fixing up,,,one of my jobs was to airbrush over a large color photograph ( cibaprint ) of oil painted clouds and the WB shield,, to render in opaque gouache, on top of what the photo was originally, an oil painting, shape for shape, color for color, only in airbrush,,,, I regret not having one of the designers there snap a polariod of that art on my drafting board in my cubicle, with me, trusty Iwata airbrush in one hand,,, and a cup of coffee in the other,,, lot of late nights there,,, great bunch of people too.
Unfortuantly, this was made before the movie even existed, and this was made before CCG88 deleated his channel and started the new one under the same name
15:01 but that logo animation was in Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory which is a 1971 film. Also at the end of a 1976 film called Rudolph’s Shiny New Year. Anyways that’s MAH FAVORITE BOI!
