- Hey everyone! Sorry about that, I was trying to do the whole thing with pictures of Disney logos and repeated music, but I was failed on the original video because it got dislike-bombed. So, a lot of what I did was I decided to remove the pictures and audio and stick with only the video.
Anyways, presenting Disney Logo History (1937-present), once again, requested by none other than FOX Therron7 POE TWO!

17:36 By the way, does anyone else thing the logo change in Toy Story rereleases feels off? It used to open with the 3D castle and the blue backdrop from the 1990s era. Music was composed. It faded seamlessly into the blue wallpaper. Now there's a cue missing and the movie opens as though it had missed something.
I used to think the D was a backword G for the longest time,It looked that way.

It took me far too long to realize that the tune behind the classic white and blue logo was “When You Wish Upon A Star” from Pinocchio.

Well you can get old Walt Disney movies ether online or at stores. Disney still calls it Walt Disney world tho

One of the best opening titles has to be 101 dalmatians. They changed everything there because it was animated, not just a bunch of text. The title music also is literally if you spoke 101 dalmatians, it’s genius.apparently Pete docter was such a fan of it, the opening titles to monsters inc is basically an homage to it.

Aww man I miss the old logo. I still have some VHS tapes with it on and it brings back so many memories. I even have a Snow White tape with the really old Disney Home video logo with the Sorcerers' Apprentice Mickey and purple writing.

Kristina Duval I literally grew up on 90% of the old Disney movies and I genuinely would bet my entire savings on Tinkerbell flying around and touching her wand on the tip of the castle, and just flying around in general.... I love the music in the variant at 13:01. It’s so magical and serene, thus perfectly fitting the Disney brand. I wish they stuck with this arrangement for every movie after until it was replaced with the CGI logo.

I grew up and am still growing up with the 2006 one. Love it
For the 2006 logos, all you do is just play the ending. That’s it. You need to play the whole 2006 logos, and logos you have to find: 1985 logo with slightly re-orchestrated theme, 1985 short logo with re-orchestrated theme with choir mixed in, 1985 logo with the theme re-orchestrated again but in a dramatically different key, same 1985 logo with music re-orchestrated more dramatically again, and finally 1985 logo with most dramatic re-orchestration that sounds like The 1988 Walt Disney Tv logo theme.

After I heard that the castle logo with blue screen made and started at 1985 so that mean it is the era of Michael Eisner as CEO of Disney Company, that guy is really saved the company after he became the CEO.

I know this might not matter to certain people, but this video was published the exact day that RUclips lost the internet personality "Angry Grandpa". He was born 10/16/1950 and died 12/10/2017 at age 67 from cirrhosis of the liver.

there was a video just like this nearly five years ago, in which i’ve noticed that intro on 5:57 too and it captured my interest so much. it's just unique and epic-adventurous, feels like from ducktales.
however, i couldn’t find out from which exact movie was it, so now i might continue that research :)
also 7:20 has kinda gentle and warm emotive introduction to the upcoming animated feature, love it as romantic inspired in orchestral instruments roles, coz oboe is so neat in that context ^-^
also also hope that disney will reabilitate from bad lucks they had.

I was born in 2002 but still, I watched many of the old ones because in Disney Junior they were used to put old movies like Dumbo, Robin Hood, Sword in the Stone, Aristocats, etc... I don't know if they still doing that like before.

You forgot the variant for "Herbie: Fully Loaded", which had the blue Magic Kingdom logo, but had the Beach Boys' "Get You Back" playing over it, leading into the movie's intro. It was one of the last movies to use that logo.

I don’t miss this I feel like I’ve been duped my whole life into believing in dreams but not having a dream to believe. And sold a copy of a remake that has been rewritten a 1000 times before. This “logo” particularly but maybe Walt didn’t think anyone would find out the origin of the castle...he for sure was the ultimate dreamer.

That I know of, it's because Walt Disney died. After his death, he didn't sign any more agreements for movies to be made....It's illegal to represent someone as if they are still alive and approving items in that manner.
Going to just "Disney" allows them to have more freedom in what they do

This video is not edited very well, each logo should be new as it progresses through the years, not jump back to an old one, it breaks the transitions when you see an old logo jump in between new ones.
