  • Kuwaiti كويتي, [kweːti] is a Gulf Arabic dialect spoken in Kuwait. Kuwaiti Arabic shares many phonetic features unique to Gulf dialects spoken in the Arabian Peninsula.
    Let's learn nouns through emojis.

    For vowels:
    [ ā ] used as the long vowel alif (ا)
    [ ē ] used as the long vowel ya (ي)
    [ oo ] used as the long vowel waw (و)
    [ à, ' ] used as the letter 'ain (ع)
    [ Dh ] used as the letter Dha (ض) and (ظ)
    [ dh ] used as letter dhal (ذ)
    [ T ] used as letter Ta (ط)
    [ ` ] used as letter hamza ( ء)
    [ ê ] used like a mute e.
