Ford builds and sells this motor to put in Jaguar and Range Rover but why won’t they just give us one Explorer ST or one Expedition some type of special edition with the blown coyote I don’t get it
This is my second range rover sport . The first was a 06 supercharged and i now have the 2014 autobiography supercharged . Probably the best handleing and riding suv that can dominate all types of terrain . One year in a snow storm i passed a friend who slid into a ditch along with others in the town i live in. I put it into reverse and backed up a icey hill and ended up taking everyone home. They all braged about how well it did in the snow. Keep in mind some of them where driving 4wd trucks. I love my range rover !

I really think the car is good everyone basing out on it because they believe it’s a money pit those are just scotty Kilmer fans
I mean, we wont really know until about 5 years from now.
But based off of the longevity of older models, they have notoriously bad long term quality.
I know they are still at the bottom of the J.D. Power dependability ranking. 🤷♂️
My best friend bought a brand new svr in 2015 and it’s still running great!! She had no issues at all
I have a 2014. Zero issues. Haters just hate what they can't afford.
@@carycoller3140 true i have bought min brand new in 2013 and I still own it after the warranty expired and have only had minor issues like an alternator going bad and nothing else.
@@gto4609 and that happens on every car. I owned my 2010 Rover Sport for 3 years and the only thing that happened was the battery died. I'm on my 2014 for a year and a half (I bought it used in 2018) with absolutely zero issues. People are missing out on an awesome awesome vehicle. My Rover is a V8 Supercharged. I'm hoping to get out of it in the coming year and get an SVR.
Future advice, Range Rover is NOT a brand, it's a Model of the brand LAND Rover

You’re confusing car make and brand. Brand can be anything, even family of products. Ever heard of sub-brands? Just look at Evoque and Velar: these are branded as Range Rovers even though both and not exactly RRs and in particular Evoque was revealed as Land Rover LRX.
As a Brit I'm ashamed of what Land Rover have become, they have completely and utterly turned their back on the hard working people who made them..
I've had several Land Rover products over a 20 year period and every one of them has been less than reliable.
Never again will I buy anything that's got a green oval badge..!
So buy a Range Rover with a black oval badge

I have a 2018 SVR and 2016 discovery (I wanted a 3.0 litre engine) and I have had no problems with them, appart from a couple of minor issues i mentioned in autovolg's pov video comments.
The main dealer i use is great, no arguments about replacements under warranty.
Discovery has 100,000 + miles on it, it took 4 adults a full boot and full roof rack to the south of France from northern England (1126 miles) and didn't miss a beat. 85 mph for most of the way on the French motorways.
I will admit the LR's and RR's of the 90's were poor quality, freelander 1 was shocking but I wouldn't hesitate to buy a discovery 3,4,or 5 or anything else made by JLR.
I owned a new land cruiser when I lived in Australia and it was as good as my discovery, I've also owned a Toyota surf which was indestructible but not in the same luxury class as LAND-ROVER.

You've clearly haven't driven the Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk, that suv is a blast I'd recommend you drive it as soon as you can.
This at nearly $150,000 you could get a 1,000 HP Hennessy Trackhawk that would murder this Range Rover in cold blood 😂😂

Absolutely stunning, great car
I own a 2015 RRS V8 Dynamic & it’s the best vehicle I have ever owned. The sound it makes on acceleration never gets old. I also like the understated interior. I work as a Mercedes technician and find the new w167 GLE/GLS interior design way to busy & will not age well. Not to mention it’s riddled with problems. Quality control from the Alabama plant is a absolute mess.
I own a an 2019 SVR. No doubt the best Suv in the game. I absolutely love it..
You should see if you can find a Jeep TrackHawk to review next.

4:35 Window global close is done from the driver's door handle, not the key.
It's nice looking but all those gadgets are scary when they start breaking down. And they probably will cost an arm and both legs to repair.
That's when the warranty comes into play. Rational people don't buy these vehicles, they lease them. Never worry about them braking down! ... I've had mine for 1.5 years and never an issue, same for my R8 V10 Plus

As another Brit, these cars come with a stigma in the UK, and are considered as socially unacceptable and no more than a status symbol for a certain type of individual, farmers excluded. A well known, so called national UK TV car program host, once remarked live on a radio channel, that when he bought his, he made sure that when he ordered his, it had every extra. He explained that it is well known that gradually everything will stop working and break down. I guess with 3/4 year lease/purchase plans, who cares when you can hand them back at the end of the plan.

a dutch youtuber got a svr in this collor and it pretty rare collor he changed the exaust and it sound way beter it not close to the pre facelift svr but still nice and they did a test before the exaust change it has around 580 hp after you get between 612 and 625 hp

The looks, the sound, the luxury is all awesome and i bet i drives like it looks. As a bat out of hell for a car that heavy. But 140K? Hell no! i know a few RR owners and the cost of ownership after a few years is going trough the roof. But here is an idea.. check also the competition like the BMW X5, Mercedes GLE and the Audi Q8 and tell us what you think of them and what would be your pick. Maybe even do the Volvo XC90 and the Porsche counterpart. Cayenne or panamera?

Great video. But in my opinion, if it can't last more than 2 minutes without having to take it to the shop, it's straight garbage. Part of being a good performance vehicle is endurance and reliability.

Mike built locally here .Great design great driving experience but like all JLR’ suffer from reliability issue,electric mainly.power up windows hold down lock but need to be set up to work and ticked in menu.👍

Land Rover has beautiful vehicles. Unfortunately not worth the money. It depreciates like a cylinder block in water. Reliability is not the greatest. Unless you buy it new.
