As a single mother raising two children with special needs things are challenging on me. I’m overwhelmed but I’m trying to provide the best I can for my sons. Right now during a time of war Israel is being scrutinized as no other nation on earth ever has been, Israel is fighting for it's life and right to exist. They're dealing with the aftermath of an horrendous terror attack that occurred on Oct. 7th, 2023 that claimed the lives of 1,400 Israelis including many women and children in brutal and evil ways most can not even imagine. That horrific day also saw over 240 others being lead into captivity as hostages most of which are still being held to this very day. That is the reason for this war do not let anyone or anything convince you otherwise. The Islamic state behind that attack is one of political power, lust and hate. Prior to the current war Israel has had no presence in Gaza since 2006 when they pulled out all Israelis for a promise of peace, which was of course a lie. The region is known as Palestine because of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 135-136 AD that the Jewish People rebelled against and he wanted them wiped out and all memory of them gone, even their land was renamed. They rebelled in part because Emperor Hadrian demanded they worship him as a god. So he renamed the region, (Syria Palaestina), to get back at them by naming it after their historical enemy the Philistines. The Philistines were an aggressive, warmongering people who occupied territory southwest of Israel between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. The Palestinian people are a people that doesn't or didn't exist until 1948 when Israel returned to it's land, Israel a dead nation reformed in a single day just as prophesied in Isaiah 66:8, something that's never been seen or happened before. Israel is a true democracy something we're told by the screeching mobs and politicians is the most important thing any government can strive for and achieve. Yet in Ukraine corrupt politicians and tyrants have put a stop to all elections and yet it is still somehow being held up as an example of a democracy that we should be supporting. We are supposed to be a Constitutional Republic and yet our constitution is being ignored and shredded by corrupt judges and DAs put there by equally corrupt politicians, government and privately funded NGOs. The rule of law in the United States is in a coma and on life support if not already dead. Our borders are wide open and for the most part being ignored while what can only be labeled as an invasion is taking place with the number of crossings justifying such a claim. There are even talks from this current administration of importing 800,000 so called Palestinian's and giving them a fast track to citizenship including food, housing, free medical care, and support of all kinds. Yet our own veterans go homeless and without proper medical care or support. We can not and are not vetting those illegally crossing our southern border and yet this corrupt government promises they will vet them all. All of what we see now is being done by people who seek power over everything else, even the welfare of their own citizens and nations. They're going after everything that's good and true and leaving a dystopian hellscape in their wake. The electoral college was put in place by the founders to protect the rights of the few verses the many. They however did not foresee the massive concentrated populations that would result from the huge cities of today. Even with the electoral college those large cities can and do hold entire states hostage by cancelling out and overwhelming the votes of those who populate the rest of it. Now they're even trying to do away with the electoral college when instead it should be being redesigned to compensate for those large population centers. So that those large cities and their populations do not dictate to the rest of the state or even the entire nation who's in power and what direction it will take. Why do people think we have what are known as "swing states"? They are states with large cities and their concentrated populations that overwhelm and cancel out the vote of the rest of the citizens who live there. This begs for the corruption and manipulation that we see today no matter how many times we are told it doesn't exist or is labeled a conspiracy theory. I see people speaking of term limits but until the electoral college is redesigned that will not accomplish the desired result. We will still see the corrupt gain power but their tenure will just be shorter. Without election and electoral college reform they will continue to gain power. As of today and for decades, instead of elections what we have in truth are selections. As we see with all cultures throughout history the more you remove God from that culture the more hedonistic and self-destructive it becomes. We've removed God from government, schools and soon the public square and with that come repercussions.
