Wow this was super awesome it felt like a very rich colorful world exploration. Ups and downs; wondrous sigths. I don't know the feeling exactly that it give but I would say it is an "awe of the new" feeling
Extra beautiful. I just order this library on sale. My first library and i Just jumped in and scared at the same time. So many libraries that are good but I can pay for this monthly and not be broke. You did a beautiful work and it is inspiring to me and I feel I can learn a lot from what I'm hearing in your composition. Thank you.
Beautiful peace! Very well done! I especially like the powerful crescendo at about 3:20. I love the way you came back down soft with the choirs and then went more powerful at the end. Very dramatic and dynamic. Now I have to go listen to it on my stereo instead of my phone so I can really feel the depth of it. I came across this while looking for comparisons between East-West and Philharmonik 2. I just got the latter for free but I already have Composer Cloud so I was curious to see whether or not I could cancel Composer Cloud and save the money. Nope. Your piece convinced me that there's no comparison.😉
Hi, I have a Ryzen 4800HS and 16GB of RAM. I also have a 1 TB SSD dedicated to sample libraries so that the instruments don’t have to load much into RAM. Eg. Most is just streamed from the drive. GPU doesn’t really matter for this sort of thing. Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot! There is a flautando articulation for the 2nd vlns, and there is a Sul Pont articulation in Opus Edition, for the 18 vlns section and for the Ensemble instrument. Sorry for the late reply, hope this helps!
Great composition! I'm planning on buying this library but a bit concerned about space it might take. I do have 1tb ssd, but I fear after installing this I won't have space for other libraries. Is there a way to optimize it? (e.g. get rid of some advanced articulations and only leave the basics)
Hi Nikita, the orchestra itself totals somewhere in the 200-300gb range I’m pretty sure (I could be wrong), if you just have the GoldX version like I have. Should leave plenty of room, but if you do want to cut down on things, you can just download specific instruments/articulations in Opus itself. If you go to the ‘Browse’ index, you can search for patches etc. Are you purchasing this library only, or a CC subscription? Thanks for your comment!
@@joshuaelliottmusicThanks for the reply. I'd like to buy full library and gold version sounds great for me. For some reason there is only platinum version on east west website, do you know if it's possible to buy gold?
I just looked as well. It would seem that they’ve changed it since Opus was released last year. From what I can tell, you have to use ComposerCloud to get the Gold version, but you should reach out to their customer support on the website just to be sure. If Platinum/Diamond is the only option available, there may be a way to only download certain mic positions to save space. For example, when I purchased ComposerCloud, you had to download the base library, which included just 1 mic position. After that, there was a sort of add on to get the ‘GoldX’ mic position that was about 30gb per section of the orchestra. If this same system exists for the Diamond version, you could purchase Diamond and only download certain mic positions. However, I don’t know if it works like this for Diamond. You could ask customer support about this as well if you are not able to purchase just the Gold version. On a side note, don’t feel pressured by the current sale. Opus Edition has been perpetually on sale for like 60% off since it was released, so there is no hurry to buy it if you’re concerned about anything. Chances are, in a couple weeks they’ll announce a new ‘summer sale’ or something that will be 60% off again. :)
Feel free to comment if you enjoyed the piece!
Can you give me a midi of this piece?
Hello Joshua. Very nice piece, sir! I am just a beginner at this stuff. Thanks for putting this out there.

I would add though that the solo violin sample performance was sounding a bit artificial. Especially in 1:22
Thanks a lot for your comments! I’m glad you enjoyed the piece, and I’ll check out that violin solo to see what I can improve for next time.
Also thank you for showcasing this… just makes me wanna buy it even more 🥲
Another amazing composition. Well done, Joshua.
It’s interesting to watch the video with the accompanying instruments, etc, too. Bravo!
Thank you! I decided to do something different for the video, so I'm glad you liked it!
Very nice piece of music. Good stuff.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Very well done, love you’re videos keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot, glad you liked it!

Wow thanks so much! I really appreciate your comments and I’m glad you enjoyed it so much. Cheers.
That sounds beautiful!!!
Although the violin in high pitches sounds a bit too midi for some reason.
Are you using the expression wheel?
Hi, what are your computer specs for running this EastWest Hollywood orchestra Opus edition?

Nice composition. Good structure. Do you also have flautando or sul ponticello strings in the EastWest Hollywood Orchestra?
