Thanks for this video, it helped me out a lot. I used the jack stands along with heavy duty 3 foot long zip ties from harbor freight to help hold up the hitch, it was a life saver. I also used electrical tape to tie the two spacers together to prevent from sliding. Hope this helps someone.

I was lucky that the dealer installed it on mine. I use it all the time to transport my bikes. They weren't available for the longest time. Nice video!!

@@SlowWhip No super fair, I thought. Cost of the hitch and like 100 bucks to install. They even gave me a small discount on the hitch itself because i helped them locate it and they bought all that were available for other customers too.
@@Cocora22 That’s a fair deal. I ordered mine online from my local Lexus dealer and picked it up two days later. I didn’t even ask them about installing price.

Thank you! Why did you need to disconnect the exhaust rubber connector.
You’re welcome. You have to disconnect it or else you won’t be able to screw the last two bolts on the passenger side.

How did you remove the center trim piece?
I also have the trim sport package on my GX but dont know how to remove it🤦♂️

Hello buddy great video👍👍👍 much appreciated 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. Question about the spacers.... Couldn't you avoid using the spacers after the under spoiler cover was removed so that the receiver would sit higher off the ground??? Thanks again.
Thank you I appreciate it. Even after removing the under spoiler, you still have to use the spacers to attach this particular section of the hitch to the frame because of the design. So basically you need to use the spacers for the front of the hitch to reach the frame so you can assemble the whole kit.
I haven't installed mine yet but will have to check it out...👍

Yes I did. You have to put them on to reach the frame.

Mine is a 2022 as well
That's how genuine parts roll ,no instructions because they want you to have it installed by the dealership.
I know right?😆 Fortunately I found it online, I only needed it for the correct torque specs.
