- July 9, 2024 - 110 days or 3.6 months after I had my tibia rods (Precice 2.2 nails) and screws removed, I had X-rays on my left tibia that was lagging in bone consolidation. See the video for the X-rays and analysis of my left tibia consolidation.
I have increased my speed on the treadmill to a jogging speed of 4.5 mph.
I am also improving with my leg strength on the leg press matching and standing calf raise machine.
Subscribe to my RUclips channel, watch the video, and follow my blog to keep updated on my tibia rod removal and athletic abilities recovery.

Nice
hi HJ
I recently had tibia surgery
Currently extended to three centimeters
But the bones don't seem to grow
I would like to ask if you think I should do reverse lengthening?
How much distance should be covered every day?
My doctor tell me
keep lengthening 1mm per day
I think that will let me leg worse
I get pretty busy so I don't always reply promptly. It seems like you should slow down lengthening or even pause it. Also, the LL doctors I know recommend lengthening the tibias 0.75mm daily. 1.0mm is a lot for the tibias.
I can't give you medical advice and you only provided limited information. If you would like, you can schedule a consultation call with me.
