OK I have to say that you hit the nail on the head with this video - why are difficult products so hard to get rid of? I'm going feral on the products that suck and kicking them to the curb
I think the beautysphere has made so many people incredibly good at makeup so brands are reflecting that BUT they’ve lost the ease of use which is frustrating!
Ooh, I just want to loop your review of the chantecaille glittery lip stick. The cadence of how gritty it is absolutely makes my day! So please add that to your part 2 😅
@@luvlost03oh wow, I figured 5 7 9 went away much earlier (i think of wet seal as a 21st century store but maybe im ignorant lol). I shopped there in the 80s but never saw the store again... prob just my mall that lost it lol...and I only visit the mall once every 5 years so who knows
The MBM Surreal Skin is my evening event only foundation. It imparts a lovely pearlescent glow that photographs beautifully but I can only get a max of five hours wear before it starts breaking up in my creases.
Yeah I could definitely see that. I got a lot of compliments while I was wearing it, but 4-5 hours is for sure the limit, and it took a ton of powder to get it to behave once I got off camera.
I legit cry during the finale of every season of the Great British Baking Show! Those people are so WHOLESOME!! My heart just cannot comprehend the purity of their spirits! 😂
11:21 eh I don't like to use setting mist for product dilution because I'm a sunscreen freak and i can't imagine that wouldn't impact the efficacy of sunscreen under makeup
@@kackie it airs at 8pm in the UK = 3pm your time, someone will upload it to a torrent site 100% by like 5pm so you could definitely watch it the same day as us if you wanted ;)
My problem with the Makeup by Mario foundation (and I love so many of his products) is, not only that it doesn’t dry down, but it doesn’t last. I think I got a couple hours out of it. Today I’m wearing the NARS Light Reflecting Foundation. SO good! Also I can’t remember if it was you who turned me on to the Ami Cole loose powder, but if it was you, thank you SOOOOO much!
Vampire contour. You are about 10 years too young for that eye pallet. Us old ladies love taupe and pink. Complexion ended up in a good spot, but that foundation is NOT for you just yet. Give it a decade or two. That powder makes zero sense to me. Mix that Kosas highlighter into some lotion and smear it on arms & legs, and get rid of that lip plumper. 💋 💋 ❤❤
I LOVE the Great British Baking Show! I got my kids and husband to watch it with me during the pandemic. It's not a family favorite. We love wholesome British shows.
The MBM foundation seems to do the same to you as it does to me… highlights in a slightly metallic but not always believably dewy way. It also highlights texture quite a bit-even for me and I have very little of this issue to deal with, blessed be the gods. As for Milk’s Toasted, I’m just a little darker-skinned than you but I have olive undertones, which makes it work quite nicely on me. So yeah, I think it’s a tone thing-gray on green looks more at home than gray on most complexions, methinks. (Go team silver jewelry!)
I thought you looked great in the cool toned eye shadow. It’s definitely personal preference. I look awful in most warm tones. I wear less makeup now with my older skin as it looks better to wear less to not look older.
I’m fair skinned and I LOVE the milk sculpt stick in toasted. Maybe I’m in the lucky bracket that it works for - but I think I prefer it to my Mario sculpt stick in light. I use a brush with the milk stick, applying product to the brush first then working into my bristles, then applying. But / I’m sorry anyone else struggled with that - cause I find that extremely shocking. It’s a beautiful product. I also am unsure whether I like the Mario foundation too. What I do love is shiseido synchro skin. That’s beautiful. And the huda beauty faux filter concealer is beautiful ❤❤. Bought the uoma contour stick and powder bronzer on your rec - it’s on its way ❤
I am impressed that so many of you can remember your fave influenxers' top products. If i vaguely recognize a tik tok trending product (ie if i remember "makeup by martin matte eye stuff" instead of its proper name), i feel like ive got an A+ #1 prime grade A memory/cognitive state...
I feel ya on the emotional support hairs as my hair is as straight as it comes and fairly long. I think I'll name them like I did the beauty mark on my cheek😄 P.S. my beauty marks name is Cindy iykyk😏
I love your videos & style., Kackie. I do have to say though that the Armani concealer is one of my faves BC of the fact that it’s lighter coverage and helps quench my thirst when it comes to my crusty-ass, dry under eyes!! Lol. Also just recently bought the Dibs Beauty desert island stick (based off of Allie Glines’ rec) & enjoy it thus far. ❤😊
Always helpful and ever entertaining, kackie, haha. One of my fav moments was when you referred to your cheeks as hungry I believe ? Hahaha 😂❤❤❤❤😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊 10/10
The foundation makes you look sweaty? I think in the quest for re creating the best “ dewy looking skin”, brands have gone overboard. Instead of dewy, we are getting oily and sweaty finishes.
I would lose my shit if my lips went numb because of a lip product ha! This was intense, but you looked great at the end. and girl somehow you made EVERYTHING work... even the crazy powder - yet there is no salvation for that Kosas potion ha!
The life jacket thing is so funny because people act like an extra deep body of water is relevant when it comes to drowning… like you can drown in pretty shallow water! That shouldn’t be the reason they do or don’t make people wear them lol
SHOCKED you didn't include the Armani liquid bronzer/tint thing or anything from Laura Mercier OR any of the other eye products that have been rumbling around your drawers for the last few months.
Both Kackie and Hannah really like the Kosas Cloud set for dry skin. I use it on my combo skin and it works great there too :) Hannah specifically uses the term mochi skin wehn refering to it as well
I'm only on the contour but any product that requires six steps to work isn't worth it. No ma'am, no ma'am
You said “silver undertone” and I suddenly wished I was paler so I could have a stunning silver undertone that glitters in the setting sun.

Excited for the full declutter 😩
I think the beautysphere has made so many people incredibly good at makeup so brands are reflecting that BUT they’ve lost the ease of use which is frustrating!
A wet powder over molten foundation = lava cake 🤦♀😳
YEAHH!
Delicious texture for food, thoroughly foul for makeup...
Now I am hungry for lava cake….
This is the perfect analogy since lava cakes are slightly under baked cake and apparently this foundation remains under set until the end of time?
Ooh, I just want to loop your review of the chantecaille glittery lip stick. The cadence of how gritty it is absolutely makes my day! So please add that to your part 2 😅
ROMANTICIZING WET SEAL?!?! The store where I bought my first ever thong AND tank top with ridiculous bottom hem lace?!? Absolutely not.
Omg lol I worked at wet seal and 579 when I was a teenager 😂

oh loord it's been a hot minute since I've heard of Wet Seal lmaoooooo
Take your time with the declutters! I value yours so much because it feels like an annual encyclopedic mini-review of EVERYTHING
For what it's worth: this look is amazing on you! This sun kissed look is so pretty😊!

I finally ordered the Kaja eyeshadow for the first time! I cannot wait to try it and the Givenchy concealer.

A foundation that doesn’t set is a no,no,hell no ❤
I saw Nikki La Rose use the Kosas Glow IV and it looked pretty on her. That is probably the first and last time I will ever see that happen on anyone.

The foundation makes you look sweaty? I think in the quest for re creating the best “ dewy looking skin”, brands have gone overboard. Instead of dewy, we are getting oily and sweaty finishes.
Kackie I think it's the shade of the concealer that's making you gray.
Um that foundation looks GORGEOUS on you 🤷♀️
i LOVE rhode skin too so I get it
Same! My preferred eczema routine has been out of stock for ages and my derm recommended Rhode because of a specific ceramide in it and it’s so good.
Kacki you could become an editorial model and just retire. So gorgeous!
what's kackie's recommended contour here? the repackaged one??
Uoma beauty
Freaked out when I saw the VB primer on your list. Because I just received it and trying it tomorrow. LOL.
I would lose my shit if my lips went numb because of a lip product ha! This was intense, but you looked great at the end. and girl somehow you made EVERYTHING work... even the crazy powder - yet there is no salvation for that Kosas potion ha!
The Uoma powder is stated not to be used under the eyes due to causing oxidation.
Reminds me of an emily noel type of video, and love it! Game for round 2 😁

Wow! I forgot about 5-7-9
omg i am so excited for new bake off, i have a fat crush on noel fielding
Thank god I’m not the only one who thinks Wayne Goss mansplains makeup 😂
if there's a mom at your son's daycare whom you really don't like, "donate" her the glow iv
Would love a revolve shop with me beauty and maybe even clothes? It’s one of the only brands that ships to my country❤
SHOCKED you didn't include the Armani liquid bronzer/tint thing or anything from Laura Mercier OR any of the other eye products that have been rumbling around your drawers for the last few months.
Agree on “anything from Laura Mercier” 😂
feel like Laura Mercier has gotta be one of the next brands to go, everything they strive to do, Bobbi Brown does a liiiil better (except powder)
The uoma beauty powder isn’t meant to be used under the eye so I think that’s why it looks especially bad
I’m an Aries and an empath 🤷🏻♀️
"And I was like... it's brown"
I am coming
😂😂 Hungry cheeks!! 😂😂
Hang in there the retinol purge is rough but it's worth it.
That makeup by Mario is has several comedogenic ingredients right at the top of the ingredient list 😬
