Mezzoforte did an outstanding job on this Medley, and 100% they could perform all these live and the full length versions back to back, I'd travel to their native Iceland just to see them do it.
Hi. I agree. I love the band. You might also like our band. We are deeply inspired by Mezzoforte. Listen if you like 😁 And if you sub....😍 we'll be so greatfull. Thanks - from bassplayer Mads P.
NP Pete, I hope to post the Classic Disco Mix in about a week or so, you will love it... and thanks for the positive comments, definitely helps get through all the hours of work...
That's right the "album" was recorded in 1979, however, The Groove was not released until April 1980 and charted throughout May and June, the list relates to when the songs were released and charted, hence 1980 for The Groove, I have The Groove 7inch single, and Rodney's album You'll Never Know. infact the 7inch single lists as (c) 1980, only the album states 1979......
Actually this is a shortened version, the original version on the Funkin’ Marvellous album is a bit longer. ruclips.net/video/S9ODuaEubxM/видео.html Check between rockit and Funkin’. Also the ending is much longer
There must be 2 shorter versions, the other version is only about 4 minutes, my posted version is 7:45 and is listed as the full version from the bonus tracks, after listening to the Funkin' Marvellous longer version (has a very different sound) and doing a bit of digging, the track is listed as (No Artist) - Segue: The Megamix, whereas other Mezzoforte tracks on CD credit the band, quite interesting and I suspect that it may have been a one-off just for this CD release, Mezzoforte would not have released a greatest hits compilation and put a tacked listed as the full version when it was not. all this stuff aside its a great track and I'm glad to have spent the time putting all the information together and posting it...
Großartig! Könnte ich mir stundenlang anhören.
Wow...I remember this! I'd love to hear these tunes and more of the same Ilk in concert....that would be fantastic!
