Geniuses. I’m actually more impressed by how they came up with the story rather than the music because it just feels like the music comes so natural to the story.
Wow, I can hear the musical genius just in the way they speak.

I mean this show has great music, an original story, with clever, creative lyrics/dialogues that’s full of easter eggs. Such a fun show that should still be running on Broadway for a long time, IMO.
Does anyone else wonder if they based the show off of their life? Two play-write brothers trying to make it big who write a musical together? I mean it would obviously be loose interpretation, but still

Wow! They are incredibly talented musical writers. Unfortunately for them both they definitely are out of tune vocally. I’m not intending to be too critical because I adore ‘Something Rotten’!
Writer seriously don't care about that. Why would they? Their time and effort goes into learning and pursing songwriting and story telling. They know they can't sing, but most of the greatest composer's can't. Their songs are incredible.
