The answer is yes. If you have a job or other options like books, video games or something else ( or even your dreams) you can be happy without a partner.

I hate the idea that my happiness needs to be define by another person. I am single and am really happy. People who think that relationship or marriage is a must in life , there is nothing wrong but don’t judge people who is really happy with being single. Not everyone feels the same way or need to live a stereotypical life.
Agree. Anyone can be happy, regardless of their circumstances. If they title this video can I be poor and happy, will receive so much backlash.

I think that if someone is single for too long and is used to everything going only their way, it will be difficult for them to compromise if they ever date. This may not be true to all but I think the older a person is, the more likely true this is.

Nothing wrong doing shit alone ah, chances are people don't even notice you at all. You do you; happy can alr. It is also perfectly fine to date yourself and treat yourself well from time to time; don't even need to go through the entire bullshit of acting diplomatic and deciding what your date like to do or to eat what fuck, you want just go only. Besides, walking into "fancier" places alone feels a lot more baller leh :>

I'm 31 and still haven't get a relationship not more than 1-2 month relationship as well. I feel like I wasn't ready yet but in the same time I carving for comfort sometimes. So when I go dating app and it kill the carving straight away.

Embrace whatever comes along the way. Eventually if you are single then fine, or if you get into a relationship then make the best out of it. Its not like if you dont have a relationship you will have a worse quality of life and vice versa. A relationship is more of a "want" than a "need".

companionship is crucial for healthy individually n society...being single and having meaningful relationship with beautiful people around still a good foundation..whats matter is soul ties u have in ur lifetime,not just with spouse.

They might as well ask me... I've always been single and happy as a clam. Helps if there are other things in life you find really meaningful and enjoy tremendously. I love eating alone - a great way to try any restaurant you want at a price point you're comfortable with, at any time!

What if , you are attached but unhappy? Isn’t that worst ? So it’s better to be single. at least you have options. But for ladies, time is ticking. Meeting a bad , unsuitable guy is a waste of your time.

Nope, you are not alone. At 32, I do enjoy being single yet hanging out w friends/family without that extra commitment :) And I have had about 5 exes throughout my life.
I wanted to be single since I was in primary 1. Bc I’m asexual and my parents showed me how toxic marriage can be.

I love being out alone (most people are just OK to be alone if no choice). I’m married btw. I love to watch movies alone, eat hotpot alone, walk around alone. I think the only activity I don’t do like to do alone is go KTV alone. I got excited at the thought of travelling alone also but don’t dare haha so I prefer to go with my husband
I do enjoy going out with my husband. Just that I’ll go out EXTRA just to also enjoy it myself hahaha

To be honest, you can find a partner anywhere. At a gym, cooking class, shopping mall, dating apps etc. It's not the location but rather taking the first step to knowing someone and letting it progress.

This life you have, Please live it for yourself, not for others, not for society, not for your parents wanting a grandchild. Marriage is a calling and its not for everyone. Make solid plans for your golden years, have good insurance and don't be a burden to society next time. Don't ever get married cause all your friends are doing so, And dont have children because you're afraid there'll be nobody to send you off on your last journey. The world is pretty wicked anyways.

im 28, ive dated over 130 females since my early 20s.
for guys, i think as you date more, your expectations will go higher cause you have been seeing ugly sides of human nature. For girls, it's advisable to settle down before age 30. Once you over 30s and being an 'independent' woman, i tell your, jialat liao....no successful guys desire a controlling, feminist woman who tries to boss him around.
And vice versa, no successful girls desire a fuckboy who waves his dating report around like a trophy

Uh... I can tell you, even if become in 30s and single.. we still can be submissive and act like 小女人 to the ones we love. We even can bring in extra money to suit to your convenience. Heck, you don’t even in to commit and pay so much in having a family. Even buy hdb flat, women also pay half, divorce also split half. depends how guys treat us well. Not all are feminist ok 👏🏻
