I watched your channel traveling back to Alaska and saw you making a hike there at Lake Louise. It brought back precious memories. I’m 84 and enjoy your show. God is so good !

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I have always been in love with the outdoors and in awe of all the amazing beauty that God has created for our pleasure and to help us survive. I sometimes sit and wonder how people can see all this beauty, yet not feel God's love holding them and chasing away every bad emotion out of your being. How I would love to be able to go back to Alaska and explore all the beauty, fish and learn how to survive there. I always feel such a peace and closeness with God when I am in nature, a whole lot more than I have ever felt in church. I wonder why?
When I was 12 we drove from our home in Washington state up to Whitehorse where we then canoed the Yukon river for 500 miles. We ended in Dawson Creek. It was one of the coolest experiences of my life. Canada is so beautiful! 😍
Hey Joas, When I lived & worked in Dawson Creek,B.C.from 1979 to1986 I would drive once a week from Dawson Creek to Fairbanks. Back then the AlCan highway was all gravel from milepost #101 to the Alaska border except for going through small towns & of coarse through Whitehorse, Yukon Territories. I sure miss living up there!!!.... Sincerely, the old Montana cowboy, Frank Scherping😂

They were all beautiful, too! There’s certainly lots of gorgeous scenery along your journey to Montana and back home to Alaska. Seeing Avalon, Wyatt and Chloe running down your long and lovely driveway to welcome you guys home was just about the most beautiful sight along the way on your trip!
Lake Louise was my parents favorite get away when they were still with us, now passed. They absolutely loved it there. Banff also with the hot springs all up there they spoke about it so often. It was a dreamland to them. I won't ever probably see it however we've lived all over the USA so I have seen so much beauty no matter where we go. You surely saw some beautiful creatures and the diverse types of animals was amazing. Beautiful country and your home in Montana looks as lovely as every and new growth on the planting...........beautiful. My heart jumped and a tear came to my eyes when I saw the children running to greet you. Nobody like it when "dads" away. When a unit of the family is missing it's always wonderful to welcome them home.........the children were so happy to see you! God bless and thankfully you are home safe and sound!

We did this drive from Vegas to Fairbanks. We drove an old Buick. We had a tent, propane grill, four little kids, and a dog. This was in July of 1988. It was such a beautiful adventure.

I love your visits back home when you see your family and friends and I also anticipate your travel back to Alaska to be reunited with Priscilla and the kiddos. You have a beautiful life. We actually drove from Virginia to Alaska and it sure is a beautiful, drive. We love Alaska. We have been there several times, and never get tired of the views. My husband and a friend drove from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay. They got into a herd of about 500 Caribou. There were surrounded. They also saw MuskOx, and bear. They spent the night in PB and drove back the next day.

It was November when I did that. Just wondering, what do you do with the dead deer, do you leave it at the roadside? Glad you made it safely to Alaska. God Bless you all, too. I still have a lot of pain from my surgery, but I am grateful to be home.❤❤❤

My actual home town was Middlebury, about 10-12 miles west of Shipshewana. I now live in Fort Wayne but visit home quite often. I'm curious to know if your parents were familiar with the name Joni Hostetler who was my neighbor and learned to know very well. I associate with your messages very well as I grew up with many Amish neighbors. Good People!
