I do like the first story with Knuckles and the chaotix working together. Gives pre Archie vibes with those four being apart of a team. All they need is Mighty and Ray and we would have a nice reunion of the old team from the old Archie days.
Bit of a fun fact, the reason Vectilla made it into IDW is because Sonic Team (for some reason) asked Ian Flynn to do it. I know they think fondly of Sonic X, but what made ‘em suddenly decide to have Vector’s crush on Vanilla be included? It did come out of nowhere IMO.
Maybe Sonic Team thinks that if there's at least one ongoing romance plot going on in the series, the fandom's desire to ship will be sated. Weather it'll actually work, or just taunt the people who expected more, I'd rather not discuss.
@@billtenth5805 i mean it seems sonic team seems to be warming up a little to characters getting into relationships, just in a far less soap opera way as Archie did, just enough so it still feels like an action/comedy comic first and foremost, which i think is the best thing to do imo. Whisper and Tangle are still obviously a pair, Blaze has feelings for Silver and Sonic, Amy always expresses her love for Sonic if a bit subdued than usual, and of course vector an vanilla. With the way the recent issues are paced, there's plenty of downtime between them and time happening so maybe a lot of that is indeed dates for some of these pairs =p i mean that straight up happened with Sonic and Blaze. And yeah they have someone approve all the drafts for these comics at Sonic Team, so they are indeed all aware of this and it didnt just slip between the cracks. I just think they're making sure it's not going into a hard romance direction because brand and also to avoid the Archie drama stigma.
I wish for the same, but sadly Sega decided to keep both of those universes separate. My guess to make it a little bit easier for them so that lore and world building won’t conflict between one another. Non-ideal choice, but a more sensible one since A lot of potential in both universes.
That was pretty good The only downside is we see Eggman is fine. Whereas after Urban Warefare, it was a mystery if Eggman made it, or was teleported somewhere or what. Enjoyed the comic either way

Also, which Issue had the Surge and Kit Cover again?
It's possible! She actually cameo'd in one of the free comic book day issues, so there's no problem including her, they just haven't found a way to implement her just yet into the main series of books.
Im sorry if i sound like Im complaining but I honestly wish Knuckles and Cream were more involved with Sonic Tails and Amy like the old days. Knuckles is always on Angle Island and Cream is always at home with her mom. I get Knuckles is the guardian of Angel Island and Cream is a child but I honestly don't care I want them to be more involved with Sonic Tails and Amy anyway. I just want the Sonic Advance/Sonic X crew back together again.
