Yes If I was going to run an automatic I would want the power driven diesel build for several reasons . For one they test there transmissions a lot harder than I ever would use them . I really like the roller bearings that replace the thrust washers . I would want the 6 pinion planets and the 48 front pump . Both may not be necessary the better servos help keep leakage down . I seen mods done to add oil the the sprag at back of the transmission. I watched these guys build transmissions for there trucks and I enjoyed watching craft work . I was told they all drive automatics lol thanks for the video
How long should I expect a 1000hp trans being driven aggressively 75 to 150 miles daily with about 750hp? All upgrades chosen? Truck as its used is about 7500 pounds or so on a daily basis.
Is there a certain u-joint you recommend for the higher horsepower applications if the transmission can handle all the power what else on the driveline ends up breaking
What does it take to get a manual transmission to tolerate a comparable amount of power and torque? Do you also have a video covering manuals? Thank you.
Debating between this trans and the 850hp trans. My power goal is 600hp but Ive heard that the stock output shafts break doing boosted launches? Not that I plan on doing boosted launches all day but it would be cool to do one every blue moon and not have to worry about breaking the output shaft.
I'm new to the channel, recently purchased a 93 two wheel drive with a 12valve. Wanting to build a tow rig with about 500hp. I noticed your transmissions are rated by HP. I was wondering what kind of torque should I expect at that HP and I'm thinking that 650 trans is the way to go.
I have a 98 2500 V10 that will have some power adders added to it soon, headers, cam, larger throttle body custom tune and is destined for heavy towing what upgrades do you recommend?
@@kxp.1496 lol just the tune on a V10 magnum will be pushing 560lbs of torque not including everything else lol just need to do a cam head work and bump the compression and its well over 600 tq and i have a possible supercharger coming up for sale for me now were close to 800tq i think thats respectable for a gasser lol and before you say the bottom end cant handle it there is a fella that had a sled truck putting out ridiculous power 1000hp+ and it was a stock short block he has youtube videos as well
Please give me the cost for transmission , torque converter, and anything else you recommend I need . For a 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 ,5.9 / 24 valve diesel Cummins engine. Plus shipping to wasilla Alaska . 99654
Ok now how much for this one i need to pull this fifth wheel up and down all the hills and 🗻 down hill and all even to pull up bye the beach. Yes 650 I think will work just fine it should

Very nice, even including the little avalanche. I might have you send this vid so I can use it

PowerDrivenDiesel thank you, sir!

PowerDrivenDiesel yeah Ive decided to go that route even if it means I have to wait a little longer, I think it will be worth it.
what is the price on this trans? and is it comparable to other top shops?
6k
Are the band ajustments the same if you go to a billet band lever and components
Yes the minimal difference between a 3.8 stock ratio, and 4.2 billet ratio is small enough that it doesn't require custom adjustments.

how do you compare your all transmissions to firepunks.
PowerDrivenDiesel outstanding answer.

This is too much transmission for your gasser bruh

Thank you
When you say 650hp. Is that at the crank or tires?
You don’t dyno a trans outside of a truck do you
@@codyyellott117 WTH you talking about "dyno a trans" SMH his question is valid where or not the trans is in the truck or not.
Be careful where you order parts from, i ordered my BD torgue convertor over 2 weeks ago and they still cant say when ill get it. BS...
Anyone got 8k I can have so I can get one
