Good video just got a gardiner pack put on trolley with unger tradinal tools just a few customers at moment to top my pension up iam 67yrs old but all legal injoy your videos iam from donny sth Yorkshire xx
Great video Darren very informative, it's all about doing a proper thorough job first time and from there after its happy days. I always tell my lads if you wouldn't be happy to pay for it then it's not good enough 👍
Good vid Darren but if vents are open..dat water is gona get in the hoose. I had this happen 3 times today on 1st cleans but hay ho it's only this clean that that's an issue on
Interesting what you said about defective vents, I assumed that was how vents worked as well however I have had a few customers tell me that on every sill inside a window which has a vent the water has got in and formed a puddle inside??
Great, very detaled video but what is the kit you're using. I'm hoping to clean my own windows but not sure how much i need to spend on what kit to get etc.
Great video - i just can't agree what you said about the vents ... you never know how clean the vent is inside and one ! single drop can ruin your hard work ... Also there is a risk to knock it off if is an old wonky vent , especially when is up there on a second floor window . I do wash all vents especially if is a first clean then wipe the top of the frame with a microfiber cloth. Or probably im paranoid:)
Hi Darren Really helpful videos. Helped me through a tough time in my life, Career change ect. I have watched majority of your videos. In your understanding tds video you mentioned isopropyl and Vision V2. Can you please elaborate as not finding any help on this and with winter around the corner. Many thanks Bluestone Pro clean.
Thanks for tips Darren. I've just got my first WFP. I will show this video to my lads for some training! LOL. Are sill brushes best to use for first cleans I take it mate? Cheers Jonny
Hi Daren, just starting out and finishing your videos very helpful! One question, how long does it take for the pure water on the window to dry ? Thanks
How long is a piece of string? Way too many variables. Internal temperature of the glass. External temperature. Wind. General weather conditions etc. I always tell people it will be dry by tomorrow at the latest.
Thanks, just wanted to have a rough idea so I can let customers know. After watching this video I’m very tempted to do all windows inc ground floor level wfp like yourselves. Keep up the good videos. Extremely helpful for newbies!
I'm thinking of going WFP but I have a lot of customers where the only access to the back garden is through the house, which setup would be best? Keep up the great work
To be completely honest for WFP the jobs where you have to go through the house can be a right pain in the rear. Having said that less of a pain than carrying a ladder through the house. I would recommend as part of your set up you have a backpack system for these jobs. Both Gardiners and The Cleaning Warehouse have good models available.
Nice one👍 did you use your hot water there m8? As the leaves are falling now if you get a gutter job cld you post a video m8 would like to see the gutter tools in action. Thanks keep up the good work👊
HI Darren i whats the best rate of flow to use when clean windows i have been using flow rate of 30 should i be using flow rate of 50 to60 for first cleans as getting some spotting lately as were in December should you use a grater flow rate during the winter then the sommer
Most UK customers have a once a month clean - some every two months. Remember, the less frequent the more grime to clean next time, the more time it takes, the more you need to charge.
Cheers for that Darren, I wondered about just using water. I was traditional WC 25 years ago and just Thursday started my new WFP round after being employed.
The brush head loosens all the dirt and muck, then when rinsed off with the water it will dry spot and streak free. The secret is in the water, or, I should say, what is NOT in the water, the water is highly purified using RO and DI and this removes all contaminants and particles from the water giving a reading of 000 on a TDS meter. In summary there is nothing left in the water to stick to the glass and therefor it evaporates spot and streak free.
Hi Darren, greetings from the US. I just want to take a minute to say thank you for your videos and for sharing your knowledge. I’ve been using a XLine 45 ltr. trolley and I do believe that you just solved a problem that I’ve been experiencing... Spotting. I’ve been trying to conserve the limited quantity of purified water by setting the flow meter at 15-20. It think it’s time to crank it up and let the water flow. Do you have any experience with the Xline trolleys? I was wondering... what do you think I should turn my flow meter up to? Thanks again for all you do and for offering your advice. It’s appreciated more than you know.
You're wrong again mate.. whilst I did miss it Andys eagle eyes spotted it and whipped it off once I was done so a works out in the proverbial wash. I'll give you a half right on that one.
I know this is fairly old now and love your vids but…. There are some vents you simply can’t get away with , no matter how much you rinse, ime. Especially the vents that are grid style on the fronts, aweful to clean them, only solution I’ve found is the thoroughly clean them, rinse them and come back to it 10 minutes later or try and mop up the excess water with a dry cloth or sponge, it’s not nonsense to say vents are no problem at all, I find them the worst part of cleaning windows, that and the dreaded hydrophobic f’n glass 🤬
No mate.. the reason for the breathing issues here was a simple one. I was carrying way too much excess weight and was tipping 20st when this was shot. Hope I never get that big again.
@@Darren-Green anyway least that you are ok we can all put on a bit too much weight I need to get rid of some myself anyway thank you for for your good videos from Stevie windows
that block a jet off technique is excellent
Thank you Richard.
So if you block 1 jet the the other becomes more powerful?
Loving the 'finger' technique, that's a new one for me! 👍

Great video as always Darren. Its true what you say about the vents. Ive never had a problem with them leaking but maybe I've just been lucky.
Thank you
Very informative helps alot as always .
Will get a swivel head and try the block one jet trick altho I do like the bike brush that u recommend
Good vid Darren but if vents are open..dat water is gona get in the hoose. I had this happen 3 times today on 1st cleans but hay ho it's only this clean that that's an issue on
Only if the vents are crap mate.
Interesting what you said about defective vents, I assumed that was how vents worked as well however I have had a few customers tell me that on every sill inside a window which has a vent the water has got in and formed a puddle inside??
Tell them to close the vents when they know you're coming. That's about the only advice I think I can offer.
Great, very detaled video but what is the kit you're using. I'm hoping to clean my own windows but not sure how much i need to spend on what kit to get etc.
The system is supplied by the Cleaning Warehouse in Willenhall, but there is around 10K in my system. May be a bit excessive for home use.
Great video - i just can't agree what you said about the vents ... you never know how clean the vent is inside and one ! single drop can ruin your hard work ... I Only use sill brushes mate.
Green Pro Clean Ltd even on leaded glass?
Where is the water source coming from? Your van or the customers outside water tap? Thank you
My van.

No mate. All cold water. You asked a week too late. Just spent a week on gutters. Lol.
Green Pro Clean Ltd 😂 hope they paid well. One more thing what make and height are the ladders on top of the van m8?
Won't tell you mate as they're crap and I am currently in a dispute with the manufacturer to collect them and refund them.

Looks like you're inheriting an accent from your fellow coworker there!! Excellent tips there
Bunged up.. sounding Northern. Must escape.. send help!
How often do you do the customer windows,

Wait a minute...why have you no streaks of water on glass???

What flow should the water be?
I found around 2LPM to be ideal.

Great content keep it up
i think these videos are brilliant man flows got to be flat out though
Not at all. I stick to 2lpm so about 70 on my controller. If you have a particularly grotty window the customers garden hose is always a handy option.
Hi Darren, what about the spiders nest in the top left-hand corner? Only half a job there mate..haha!

Love all your videos and its great to see new window cleaning content coming through, get bored with all the old videos.
Imagine every window like this
Many times on a first clean they are all like this -- horses for courses mate.
“You’ve left the windows all wet”
Damn.... hoped no one would notice.
Lol...everytime!
