Don't worry about the tears. It's a sign that you haven't become desensitized to the world and the people in it. That said, this song is a sad sad song and it just hits you.
What stuck to me the most from this video when I first saw it, was the young girl's family being violently thrown as her car is hit head on by the drunk driver. This shows how a crash involving a drunk driver, that ends the life of an innocent driver shatters a family forever. The shattered family photo shown represents that. This song will always make me tear up. The first time I heard it I cried.
When I first heard the song I liked it. The first time I saw the music video was a couple months after loosing my boyfriend to a car accident. I still to this day cannot hold it together at that scene of the family being thrown around. It felt like that..
I was a teenager when this came out. I'd just like to drop a reminder that the alcohol lobby in the USA and my home country of Australia attempted to ban this music video when it was first released.
Once again, thank you Rick ❤️ The love you give makes a huge difference. You are so right, the sings about drunk driving but it calls to so many hurt hearts. My favorite line is “I try to make a sound but no one hears me… and when I reached out to you, I just needed to be heard and you did that for me. I love you too!
This album came out my freshman year of high school. I don't know what I would have done without music in my life. It has truly saved me. Glad to be here in my thirties & loving who I am. I'm still struggling check to check, with hope to find a better way. We all have a different path, we just need to find that spark that ignites us! Much love to everyone here! ❣️
The tears that you are crying are not a sign of weakness but instead a sign of strength. Let those tears flow when you need to, it’s healing you. Us men try to be strong and by that crying is a sign of weakness because of the stereotype on us. I’m here to say it’s not. It’s okay to not be okay
Debbie let this community love and always be here for you. Let God's hands touch you and you feel that love. You are loved and you are worthy. May God bless you with the strength❤🙏❤🙏❤
@@Jennifer_615 I do pray and spend the me talking to God… it is hard sometimes though believing that he loves me but has brought so many people in my life that have caused me pain, and he knows I am sick and in pain all the time. Sometimes I can’t help but wonder if this is a punishment for something. It’s funny I know but one thing I have wanted since I was in my twenties was to have a near death experience not because I want to die or be hurt or anything like that but I want to see God and ask him why.
Sending love to all who need it right now. ♥ ♥ ♥ Sometimes the hardest thing to say is "Help", and in those times a sad song or anything that brings you comfort can be all you need to remind yourself that you've got this! No one else can live your life, so find that comfort and joy; (so long as it isn't hurting anyone else,) it's only going to benefit you. Your happiness matters 😊
Jesus Debbie sounds just like me and my situation. I'm bedbound and have lost so much of my life. I found that because we are so isolated with our illness, that we withdraw and become entirely afraid of social interaction and people. I wish I could be your friend, Debbie. Lots of love to you ❤
Debbie much love to you and remember you're never alone for Jesus said I will never leave you or forsake you I have been through depression and I just called on the name of Jesus and he sent me free and to the people who harassing you and bullying you they will stand for God one day for God said love each other again much love to you Debbie❤❤❤❤

I am not sure that God listens to people like me. I feel like I am being punished and I don’t know for what.
