king george the 6th invented the royal variety performance for commoners to mock the royal family.so basicaly prince charles was there to be mocked and damn the consequences.
best royal variety performance I've seen bar none a lot of other comedians I think fear being in front of royals so they avoid being racy and well... funny. He did so well!
rofl im off cryin im laughin so hard omg my poor make up that true english stays the same while other lang u need to know so many roles lol i love him so much lol
Swearing if used properly ... (can something improper be used properly ? Dunno , so I'll start over ... ). Swearing, if used improperly, is fine but if the same word is said several times in the same sentence it quickly turns the swear word into a vulgarity. And in case you think I'm the preacher' wife, I can swear with the best of them.
If u think welsh is hard try irish people learn in school 5 days a week for 14 years and still cant put a sentence together ders two ways of saying "is" the verb "to have" doesnt exist along with a lot of other verbs e.g. "To have" you say "Is" ( the thing you have ) nd then "agam." and it changes depending on who has it and dats just the tip of the iceberg.
He's playing a dangerous game with Prince Charles, but it pays off. Not many comedians can mess with Royalty face-to-face and get away with it...

He didn’t plan that banter with him until basically the day of. The balls on this man, adore him

Awww, I don't think Charles really understood what Rhod was saying.
but Rhod Gilbert does swear, haven't you seen any of his specials?
Not very much tho
that's not the point, he can't swear because it's the Royal Variety, so they're basically saying, swearing or not, he's still funny
