...Rhod Gilbert's luggage sketch is legendary 😆, it never diminishes in enjoyment of repeat watching! In my opinion, it's up there with the two Ronnie's '4 candles' sketch - timeless comedy at its British best!
Thanks so much for that! They're completely new to me :) A channel reuploaded, so if you've not seen the improved version, here you go, in thanks: ruclips.net/video/0CmaLgxLDE0/видео.html
I’m obsessed with everything about him. His voice, his talent for humor, his body, his face. Wish I could marry a guy with all those qualities. Always makes me smile and laugh, no matter what else might be troubling me.
Arguably the best Comedy Roadshow lineup ever on this particular episode. Rhod, Stewart Francis and a then unknown Kevin Bridges who stole the show and whose meteoric rise to fame started that night. The rest is history.
Well I left my house at half past 12 on a Monday, I got to your place at Wednesday tea time, What the hell happened to Tuesday? I had stuff to do! hhahahahahahahaha
Any long shows of this comedian ? I totally love this type of commedy , it's awsome. Right out of life , taking hellish experiences too comedy standards by the way he express and tells the story. Great talent here , love too see more ! :)
Amusingly he's quite an aggressive comedian who comes off as a thoroughly nice and fairly gentle guy. Weird juxtaposition on stage, but adds to his charm, I think.
Growing up with a very strict Father who never joked around made me a person who actually can't joke around. It's just not in me to have anything to say when people make fun of me or anything. All you funny people out there, keep doing what you do. You remind people like me when it's time to chill the fuck out and we'll remind you when it's time to be serious.
Ryanair. Airline based in Ireland, very cheap, arguably hellish even by air travel standards. (I took it between Valladolid and Milan in 2008 and didn't think it was too bad, but that could have been luck.)
Actually what it is!, You do not have any real notion of what a sense of humour is!!. So Jimi (Jimmy??) (or James?) get more of the stress out of your life Bro and enjoy the finite time we have here on Earth. YOHOL!!!
He tells the luggage joke so well. I never get tired of it.

The Welsh accent makes his rant-y style of comedy work so great. It just wouldn't be the same with any other accent.
In a German accent it would just be threatening
The Scottish accent is good for ranting because it's so strong which is why Scottish comedy is so strong!

This is gold! This routine is what made me a fan of his. I keep re-watching this from time to time.
He's milked the luggage gag so many times now, yet every time, it still has me cracking up!
Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. And love the accent.
I'm now in fear of having a heart attack watching Rodd Gilbert 😂😂🤣👏
I felt that 9 min of Russel is equivalent to a triple expresso.
Was and remains one of the best sketches
That was so much fun!..
Thanks Rod
When I hear his stand up, it sounds like poetry
great energy from the first note...always seems emotionally charged with something. great use of language...artful
I swear the suitcase nearly killed me. XD
Could you... could you bring it back? I think he's missing it.

politically correct? Nah.
if you really wont to help, you can take the trolley back
He needs to stop being so damned adorable. I love the Rhod. :P
Should've gone to Ireland on the ferry!
Best ever Welsh comedian .
Lee Evans :(
most people can't tell he is welsh, his accent isn't strong. especially when you compare it to Rhod's
Best ever -Welsh- comedian .
Of course he's the best Welsh comedian - they've only got one 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I do like Rhod Gilbert, and i think the luggage gag /story is one of his finest.
That episode was good.
Amusingly he's quite an aggressive comedian who comes off as a thoroughly nice and fairly gentle guy. Weird juxtaposition on stage, but adds to his charm, I think.
He tries this sorta rage but he's afraid of it
he's fantastic :-D
That looks like Eddi Reader in the cutaway to the audience about the 30-second mark.
Tears running down my face!
he's so welsh its scarry :D
Heh, looks like Michael gives really good hugs.
Laughing my way to a six pack.
Briliant
i was in wales on a flight and i found 22 kilos of extra luggage
Oh I love this man, is he married?
'You're not really helping here pal'
i cant name the airline for legal reasons - lets call then 'brian' air lmfao!
I was so thinking that
so funny!! :D
Brilliant comment exactly the same thing happened to me.
@jasonholden such a good gag tho, still makes me laugh
First class
I don't get the tuesday joke.....can anyone explain it to me?
2 words. Time zones.
Deal! :)
The time difference between here and Australia meant that he effectively lost a day when he travelled there.
You felt the need to explain that to us all?
@markfox1545 You felt the need to reply, 12 years later?
so great...what the hell happened to Tuesday?? XD
But did he get his luggage back?
Cool. :)
hilarious
anyone know the entrance tune?
Can anybody explain what's 'Brian air' referring to?
Ryanair. Airline based in Ireland, very cheap, arguably hellish even by air travel standards. (I took it between Valladolid and Milan in 2008 and didn't think it was too bad, but that could have been luck.)
@johnchittock Easy feller. Wilfred is pretty funny :D.
@AnimeLady501 ahaha! :P
Now I think I know the secret of the Welshmen's accent. They seem to pick it from Indian and Pakistani immigrants.
Wait so does he get his luggage back or not?
couch?
If you like this, you have to see the duvet sketch. B
Rhod looked about as happy to be hugged by Michael MacIntyre as I would be 🤢
@MilitantOldLady Pfft. we're not that scary! xDD

@MiSsMaDi97 same hahaha xD
Brave man. I wouldnt do the woman let alone the city
a welsh dalek? are you mental.
Easily the most humorous nation on these isles........we have to be......look at our neighbours
And again, same old routine. Seen before and will undoubtedly see again.
He needs new material. Have hear that tale about luggage 5 times over last 18 months
There are more people in the world than the people in that building...

Gilbert...he's only got one act!
I assumed he was Scottish not welsh
Na he's not for me not funny in the slightest
Actually what it is!, You do not have any real notion of what a sense of humour is!!. So Jimi (Jimmy??) (or James?) get more of the stress out of your life Bro and enjoy the finite time we have here on Earth. YOHOL!!!
