Great Jay. A small touch is to pinch a nickel and just show the edge as if it is the top of the spoon handle.

I used to do a version of this, but I used a spoon with a rounded handle, and I Incorporated a nickle so it looked like they could see a bit of the tip of the handle as it bent. Cool trick.
Jeremiah Pierce I remember that version. If I'm correct, it was really good on angles.
I never seen any angles bend a spoon.

What's your take on coin matrix? I would like to see a tutorial with your subtleties and twist to it. I can do a few versions myself gimmick and non gimmick
I groove them - I just wish they didn't always need a table. And the coins make noise and reveal the secret too. Unless of course, as you and I both know - you take it to the floor, right?

Spoon bend was the second trick I learned and I'm pretty set in my presentation of it but I love hearing/seeing someone else perform things I know because, like all things, often I then allow my tricks to evolve based on their performance. Which might be the fanciest way I've ever admitted to thievery.

I love the Alter Bridge t-shirt, I got the same one from when I watched them!
Check this out. I lived with this couple for like 6 months, and he would bend them...as in for real. His wife was my best friend and she would just get INFURIATED because he was destroying all her good silverware. She kept having to buy more. So our friends bought him wooden forks and knives and spoons, so she could have a break...but the same damn thing happened with the wooden ones....and plastic, too. It wasnt magic. It really happened. One night we made a giant pot of beef stew for like 5 adults, and the next day he had that huge, heavy pot in his arm, like you would hold a small laundry basket right at your waist with your arm around it...and he said, "Hey, if you dont want the rest I am about to throw it out." And as he stood there I looked down at the big pot and the things smashed in his arm like a pillow. I thought he was going to cry because he didnt mean to do it and his wife was going to be violent with hatred because they were not rich, and she used that pot constantly...lol...and it was a really good one. You could not have bent that thing in a damn vice grip. We tried to bang it out before she noticed but it wasnt possible. He could actually do it intentionally as well. We would be out at a restaurant, and if I could talk him into it we would have the waiter bring any kind of utensil--it didnt matter what it was made out of and then he would just pick it up. It was fascinating. I mean, I knew them for years and was living there and it was real as F. TONS of paranormal in that house too. Like, we would be standing in the kitchen and the whole huge, HEAVY oak dining room table would literally come up off the ground and flip over by itself...and all six freaking oak chairs, too. lol. Right in front of ya. It happened frequently. I loved it because I am super into that sort of thing, but it would scare the shit out of some folks. Most people who came over were used to it though. Cool, huh? It is a shame he is such a dick. My friend finally divorced him. Shame gifts are wasted on swine.
