Auburn made this famous. I spoke to my daughters travel coach years ago about employing this but was quickly dismissed! She’s a very accomplished coach but I think the more accomplished, the more resistant to suggestions and especially change...lol! Maybe I’ll bring it up again or just tell my daughter to try it. She can use a bit more speed and agility.😉

Man I was asked to help on my daughters travel team and they fought me on every thing I learned from you. They "know better". So wth am I doing here then? Eventually we left that team.
And they are still playing in the same BS tourneys and same ol lousy teams. And still cannot beat those teams, running in mud.
So glad we left.

How do you read the ball before its hit?
Still trying to figure out how to incorporate the "hop" in my technique without having to think about it/ not be a deterrent
Any difference for the outfielders? Do they basically do what the middle infielders do or do they simply do a creep step?

Thanks for the great video. I am a first time coach this year. I have watched you a lot and I have watched one other person. Between the two of you I have learned a lot. However the problem is I do have an assistant coach but we tried to show the team that we were as one team. So we call ourselves Me (coach) and him (co coach). I can see now that this was a bad idea because he has pretty much taken over the team. I have zero say in our team and he is doing things that are too advanced for our players. I coach for a rec team. Four of my players have played but they aged up from 10U to us now. Our team has 11yr olds to 14year old. My problem is he doesn’t want to listen me and what I have to say. Everything is about what he thinks we should and how we should do it. Our team is suffering really bad. What do I need to do? I want our team to see we are not divided but it’s obvious that we are. I just care for the team and I don’t want them to suffer. Any advance
