Carmen told him the whole story of how she became Carmen SanDiego when she could have very well escaped the entire time, and he listened when he didn't have to. After he got his memory wiped he obviously took romantic interest in her by asking for a coffee date, and that wouldn't have happened unless the feelings weren't already there. And she kept tabs on him even though she knew if he ever got his memory back he'd be evil and be her enemy. I get that he was nice to her and they were extremely close in crime school, but judging from her confrontations with her other classmates I doubt she would do the same, even though she got along with most of them as well as she did with Gray.

I love their relationship, It doesn’t matter if it's Platonic or Romantic, you can tell that they deeply care for each other. They want the other to be safe and happy and if one is happy then the other is happy.

And somehow Shadow San was killed. Carmen is ultimately responsible. Ivy is fighting to save Carmen, while Crackle is trying to have a relationship with Carmen. But Carmen can’t feel empathy. He and his and Carmens class slowly turn to become good, as Carmen has become evil enough to change their perception of things. After they try to speak with Carmen about her cruel methods, she exiles Tigress. Tigress joins Ivy and Zack. Tigress helps train Ivy to fight Carmen- before Shadow San died, he was also training Ivy. The season works up to an epic battle, similar to what we saw in the museum, Crackle/Gray tries to change Carmen back- but Carmen wounds him with his own weapon. Carmen beloved she killed him, breaks out the window and is having weird flashbacks. Still trying be be evil- she goes back to Vile. When the other faculty begin questioning her- she has them eliminated. Carmen is the ultimate evil. After her murdering the faculty, the entire class joins Zack and Ivy. Player- now 18-19(?) makes an appearance and is the one to console Carmen. They restrain Carmen and help her regain her memories. The rest of the season is Carmen coming to terms with what she has done and finding peace. Gray is absent believing she is better without him. Tigress or wine reaches out, tells him Carmen needs him and he shows up at the hideout. Carmen is sitting on the couch, when he walks in and says some cute catchphrase that she remembers. The series ultimately ends with the class finding normal lives, Zack joins Acme, Ivy becomes the new Carmen Sandiego, only not Carmen Sandiego obviously cause there is only one Carmen- Carmen herself retires from the mantle, she and Gray go to find her mother together, Player is revealed to be- A) Carmens half brother B) telling the story to his kids, then looking outside to see Carmen across the street from whatever restaurant he’s in with his kids, she and Gray have their own kid and Carmens mom appears to be with them as well. C) Writing the story D) Finishing a video game. One of these options is the end. Take your pick.

U know what sad bout the ending is that everyone seperates ik they find their true pations but what i loved bout the show was that everyone was a family and that gray loved carmen and never wanted to hurt her he risked hus life to bring back carmen we never see carmen or gray together after she got brain washed(the real carmen) and including the whole carmen team they seperate like they were a family i wished that they atleast stayed together
Yeah I can see that, the show was about found family and having them separate was very bittersweet. But at the same time I'm glad to see Carmen going off on her own (with Player's company obviously) to find her mother and learn more about herself outside of her persona. Because while the new ACME squad all found their place with ACME (stopping the bad guys of the world), Carmen never really had a life outside of Vile (both growing up and going against them in the show). So I thought the ending was what she needed as a character.

Now that they're gone, she could run the orphanage with her mother, join ACME, continue being a crimson-clad vigilante, or even take up something with travel as a career, like a cultural expert. Carmen has to figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life. The great part about the ending is that we don't know what she picked. When VILE agents start to reemerge, she chases one down, but that was the first time ACME saw her since VILE fell, meaning it's unlikely she still chases criminals full-time. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? We have no clue. And that's part of the fun, isn't it?
I feel like they would be a beautiful couple. It's just Carmen has had some traumatic moments and she tries to work on herself, but I feel like Gray could help her too, cause she just doesn't want to ruin everybody's lives by telling them she needs help. @@KitsuKitx my endgame: Carmen becomes evil. Five years pass. Ivy has taken the responsibility of saving Carmen because she misses her. During this five year skip, Carmen became the head of Vile. And somehow Shadow San was killed. Carmen is ultimately responsible. Ivy is fighting to save Carmen, while Crackle is trying to have a relationship with Carmen. But Carmen can’t feel empathy. He and his and Carmens class slowly turn to become good, as Carmen has become evil enough to change their perception of things. After they try to speak with Carmen about her cruel methods, she exiles Tigress. Tigress joins Ivy and Zack. Tigress helps train Ivy to fight Carmen- before Shadow San died, he was also training Ivy. The season works up to an epic battle, similar to what we saw in the museum, Crackle/Gray tries to change Carmen back- but Carmen wounds him with his own weapon. Carmen beloved she killed him, breaks out the window and is having weird flashbacks. Still trying be be evil- she goes back to Vile. When the other faculty begin questioning her- she has them eliminated. Carmen is the ultimate evil. After her murdering the faculty, the entire class joins Zack and Ivy. Player- now 18-19(?) makes an appearance and is the one to console Carmen. They restrain Carmen and help her regain her memories. The rest of the season is Carmen coming to terms with what she has done and finding peace. Gray is absent believing she is better without him. Tigress or wine reaches out, tells him Carmen needs him and he shows up at the hideout. Carmen is sitting on the couch, when he walks in and says some cute catchphrase that she remembers. The series ultimately ends with the class finding normal lives, Zack joins Acme, Ivy becomes the new Carmen Sandiego, only not Carmen Sandiego obviously cause there is only one Carmen- Carmen herself retires from the mantle, she and Gray go to find her mother together, Player is revealed to be-
A) Carmens half brother
B) telling the story to his kids, then looking outside to see Carmen across the street from whatever restaurant he’s in with his kids, she and Gray have their own kid and Carmens mom appears to be with them as well.
C) Writing the story
D) Finishing a video game.
One of these options is the end. Take your pick.

U know what sad bout the ending is that everyone seperates ik they find their true pations but what i loved bout the show was that everyone was a family and that gray loved carmen and never wanted to hurt her he risked hus life to bring back carmen we never see carmen or gray together after she got brain washed(the real carmen) and including the whole carmen team they seperate like they were a family i wished that they atleast stayed together
Yeah I can see that, the show was about found family and having them separate was very bittersweet. But at the same time I'm glad to see Carmen going off on her own (with Player's company obviously) to find her mother and learn more about herself outside of her persona. Because while the new ACME squad all found their place with ACME (stopping the bad guys of the world), Carmen never really had a life outside of Vile (both growing up and going against them in the show). So I thought the ending was what she needed as a character.

Now that they're gone, she could run the orphanage with her mother, join ACME, continue being a crimson-clad vigilante, or even take up something with travel as a career, like a cultural expert. Carmen has to figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life. The great part about the ending is that we don't know what she picked. When VILE agents start to reemerge, she chases one down, but that was the first time ACME saw her since VILE fell, meaning it's unlikely she still chases criminals full-time. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? We have no clue. And that's part of the fun, isn't it?
The sad thing is everyone else had a family, Gray is an orphan, he doesn’t have a family to go back to and now he’s all alone again

I feel like they would be a beautiful couple. It's just Carmen has had some traumatic moments and she tries to work on herself, but I feel like Gray could help her too, cause she just doesn't want to ruin everybody's lives by telling them she needs help. You know what? After saying she didn't want to complicate his life and then disappearing, Carmen found Gray again when she needed him. I like to believe that something similar will happen again after Gray's same statement in the hospital room. If they need each other, they'll be able to find a way back to each other. It'll be another parallel story point but offscreen.
Gray loves her and I am heartbroken that they never got together. The "Please come back" made me cry a lot

Gray's morality is... gray. He said it himself. He doesn't regret anything he did for VILE (which might include killing) except hurting Carmen. He's not a good person, not really. Meanwhile, Carmen left the only family she'd ever known because they were bad people. She can't be with somebody, romantically or otherwise, who doesn't share her strong sense of morality, the kind of person Gray calls "an innocent fool". Unless Gray changes (unlikely) I don't see how they can be anything more than lukewarm acquaintances.

The show wasn't cancelled, it just told the story it wanted to tell and ended on its own terms. Like what Gravity Falls did.
But even if it was not canceled, they said that I was not going to see more seasons for a final ending and if you search, it will come out that season 5 will no longer come out, that is, its was canceled
