I purchased this perfume blindly. To my big surprise it smelled like Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, which I also owned once. What a disappointment. The issue that I had with Tom Ford Grey Vetiver was its pimento note. It got to me after a while. It exuded a very tangy smell with a somewhat vegetable sharp sweetness that I couldn’t tolerate. My face dropped when I sprayed Rojas Vetiver perfume cologne and it projected the exact pimento note smell. Now, I do realize that Roja Vetiver Parfum Cologne does not have a pimento note, but to my nose it does have an accord in it that very closely resembles that pimento note. In the end I felt Roja Vetiver smelled like a more expensive version of Tom Ford Grey vetiver, so I sold it. I feel Roja should’ve been more careful in producing a Vetiver composition that didn’t smell like another popular perfume. After giving it my best effort to like it, I eventually sold the bottle.
I know this question was not for me. But do yourself a favor. Sample both. 👍👍. TF Vetiver lasts for about 2 hours. Performance is not the best This one here by Roja is Amazing 👍👍
It's funny you mention the people who care more about projection or longevity than the actual scent. Reminds me of that kinda toxic mainstream part of the fragrance community that only thinks of fragrances as some kinda weird pick up tool, something exclusively meant for other people to smell for the sole purpose of attempting seduction. Anyway, I'm glad I landed on this channel early on, and discovered people truly passionate about fragrance for themselves
