I think every brand should writte you a check for your videos. Why, well it was about 20 years ago the last time i bought a parfum for myself. For years ive been tasting some fragances here and there, but always feeling undecided. And a fiew days ago i discovered you, and it was because of you that i finally bought a parfum that smells the closest to what i imagine as a perfect scent. Its Flower from Kenzo, i dont know if you like that one, but it takes me to another emotion, it feels good, wich i think is one of the missions of a parfum. To get you out of reality for a moment and make you feel special and happy. Your passion for fragances is contagious. ❤

What a timely video: I was just wondering, “What if I broke out Arabians Tonka in this heat wave?” 😂 Too far? I agree that seasons for fragrances are quite arbitrary, I will wear most things year-round. I also find that very heavy scents bloom and perform better in the heat, as opposed to the lightweights. Maybe scent *associations* with seasonal holidays or events or memories, will make me want to wear something in one season as opposed to another. Some smoky Middle Easterns can come off like summer bug spray in the heat, blech. I can’t wait to wear Black Orchid soon, it’s so rich and deep and elegant, thanks for the suggestion! Last night, I wore Cartier Le Panther EDP, which is a pretty strong scent, the gardenia just shined,It was really lovely. 🌺♥️
Hi Gabby! I'm def not a seasonal wearer, so I tend to discover some fragrances that do absolutely fantastic in heat, even though they're typically described as winter/fall appropriate. Alien essence absolue, lolitaland and libre intense/le parfum all shine in summer, even though they're all super dense, sweet and heavy. I find that peach, honey and orange blossom scents generally do well on my skin in warm weather. Also I'm always schocked about season ratings for Santal Blush and Crystal Noir on fragnantica. They're ultimate summer jams to me.

I was so into the more robust perfumes for summer in the past but now seem to have developed a gag reflex to 37C heat and scents. This heat has been kicking my abundant behind 🥵. But you rock all that you love, Gabi ❤! Right now I’m wearing Evidence by Yves Rocher, a fresh, shampoo like LOTV/rose combo. It’s all I can handle until it cools down a bit and I can go back to my usual programming 😂
Someone recently recommended Trajan by Electimuss for summer. It's got BR540 vibes but with blood orange and I wasn't thinking summer but it really does perform well in heat. I only have a sample but I'm saving up.
Another fantastic vid, my dear! This summer I am going to wear Boucheron pour femme edp - my latest discovery which I simply adore. Some people say it's a winter scent but... 'who cares'? I have also repurchased Eden by Cacharel but this time, after watching one of your videos, I have put my hands on a vintage version from 2000s. I can't believe Eden is so underrated... The black orchid came out!!. 😂. I was just about to type 'the day I've had Black Orchid is needed', and right at the end there we have it. Some gorgeous gorgeous fragrances there. The dupe for Chloe Narcisse arrived Gabi, and I could have cried it is so beautiful. Decadence is another stunner. I have a middle eastern dupe for that one and I can't tell the difference, its so good. I'm going to think about wearing obsession and dior addict in the heat. Living in the Faroe Islands, let's face it - we do not really have summer. The temperature now in June is around 8-9C. I wear a "summer" perfume when I want to feel summer'y - it is one of the few ways to get a feeling of summer 😘 Most of my perfumes are strong and heavy and my mood dictates what I wear. I am not into aquatic, citrussy light scents anyway 😂I wish that I had to worry about high heat and sunshine 😂❤ Thank you for another lovely video, Gabi 😊❤

Most of the hot, very humid days I spent in thd Maldives I wore Black Aoud and you wouldn't believe how many compliments I got and so many people ask me to write the name of my perfume. This week it has been already hot and I wore Coromandel by Chanel, Black Opium and a sample of Athalia from Parfums de Marly that I have been completely obssessed. Smoky heaven. Forgot to mention, have you already tried Orchid Soleil (discontinued of course...) by Tom Ford??? Another one unique strong perfume I love to wear in the high heat. It is white florals, mainly tuberose mixed with whipped cream and chestnut. Sounds like it is gourmand but it is not! Very alluring, very reminiscent of some old vintage scent I have tried but can't put my finger on. If someone has already tried please say if it remindes you of another vintage perfume. ❤
Oh my… I know and love a lot of these! But some definitively would choke me out in the heat… Angel? Crave and love it about 14 days a year, usually in the colder months - the rest of the year I cannot stand it… but as of strong summer scents - it is Tauers Au coeur du desert for me - in dry heat please!
Of course you wear these in the summer! 😂 I'm definitely a seasonal wearer... Maybe because temperatures vary so much here... I can barely smell freshies in winter. I wear sweet syrupy thick fragrances in winter, but they would make me feel nauseous in the hot humid summer... 😅 So I jeep it light and fresh right now (we just had a 3 day 40 degree Celsius heat wave here).

I've always worn whatever I want regardless of the seasons. The season idea never made much sense to me. Because spring and fall are kind of neutral, summer most time is spent in air conditioning, winter most time spent in heat. I even wear fragrances with oud in summer if I'm in the mood.

The only fragrance I mainly use in summer is Womanity. All others all year around . I like sweet and oriental fragrances , my taste my space . If they don't like it they free to go. I grew up even more repellent perfumes collection :D Angel is my signature I too spray 5-6 times .

Another fantastic vid, my dear! This summer I am going to wear Boucheron pour femme edp - my latest discovery which I simply adore. Some people say it's a winter scent but... 'who cares'? I have also repurchased Eden by Cacharel but this time, after watching one of your videos, I have put my hands on a vintage version from 2000s. I can't believe Eden is so underrated... Of course I'm gonna using old good yellow Giorgio this summer as well and Jil Sander Sun and recommended by you DKNY Woman Energising. Looking forward to your next videos :)

Absolutely love this Gabbi! We can wear whatever we like,whenever we like! I also wear Addict during the summer. Another fragrance I love wearing in the heat is Kenzo Jungle l'elephant! And of course I have worn my beloved Angel in the past during all summertime! A lot of people must have choked , but who cares?😁 Anyway,thank you for another great video Gabbi!❤❤

The black orchid came out!!. 😂. I was just about to type 'the day I've had Black Orchid is needed', and right at the end there we have it. Some gorgeous gorgeous fragrances there. The dupe for Chloe Narcisse arrived Gabi, and I could have cried it is so beautiful. Decadence is another stunner. I have a middle eastern dupe for that one and I can't tell the difference, its so good. I'm going to think about wearing obsession and dior addict in the heat. At this stage I feel I probably own and love many of the same ones as you. Joy abounds ! ❤❤. Much love

I do use seasonal perfume trays.. but of course I always cheat and reach into my perfume drawers to use the ones "for the other seasons" 😅😆🤭 There actually are no rules are there, I just go by seasons because I think it's fun 😊

Living in the Faroe Islands, let's face it - we do not really have summer. The temperature now in June is around 8-9C. I wear a "summer" perfume when I want to feel summer'y - it is one of the few ways to get a feeling of summer 😘 Most of my perfumes are strong and heavy and my mood dictates what I wear. I am not into aquatic, citrussy light scents anyway 😂I wish that I had to worry about high heat and sunshine 😂❤ Thank you for another lovely video, Gabi 😊❤

Most of the hot, very humid days I spent in thd Maldives I wore Black Aoud and you wouldn't believe how many compliments I got and so many people ask me to write the name of my perfume. This week it has been already hot and I wore Coromandel by Chanel, Black Opium and a sample of Athalia from Parfums de Marly that I have been completely obssessed. Smoky heaven. Very sexy grown up woman. Obssession, Addict and Hypnotic Poison are for me, fir those summer nights that I mean business with my husband 😂😉 big kiss my love ❤

Forgot to mention, have you already tried Orchid Soleil (discontinued of course...) by Tom Ford??? Another one unique strong perfume I love to wear in the high heat. It is white florals, mainly tuberose mixed with whipped cream and chestnut. Sounds like it is gourmand but it is not! Very alluring, very reminiscent of some old vintage scent I have tried but can't put my finger on. If someone has already tried please say if it remindes you of another vintage perfume. ❤

Crave and love it about 14 days a year, usually in the colder months - the rest of the year I cannot stand it… but as of strong summer scents - it is Tauers Au coeur du desert for me - in dry heat please!

I'm definitely a seasonal wearer... Maybe because temperatures vary so much here... I can barely smell freshies in winter. I wear sweet syrupy thick fragrances in winter, but they would make me feel nauseous in the hot humid summer... 😅 So I jeep it light and fresh right now (we just had a 3 day 40 degree Celsius heat wave here).

There is really nothing I've experienced that comes close to angel. There are many dupes though. I wish I could help more!!!!
I've always worn whatever I want regardless of the seasons. The season idea never made much sense to me. Because spring and fall are kind of neutral, summer most time is spent in air conditioning, winter most time spent in heat. I even wear fragrances with oud in summer if I'm in the mood.

The only fragrance I mainly use in summer is Womanity. All others all year around . I like sweet and oriental fragrances , my taste my space . If they don't like it they free to go. I grew up even more repellent perfumes collection :D Angel is my signature I too spray 5-6 times .
