A fantastic collection. We have a number of pens in common, but my favorite is the Brass Sport. Heavier pens actually cause less cramping and less fatigue than very light pens, if you just let the pen do the work, and if it isn't really long and back heavy. I write five straight hours with the Brass Sport twice per week, and it's pone of the favorite long session pens in my writing group. How much do I like it? My other two daily carry, take anywhere and everywhere pens are the Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronz Age and the Scribo Feel, both roughly seven-hundred-dollar pens. I have a number of even more expensive pens, including a four-thousand-dollar Namiki Chinkin and a twelve-thousand-dollar Namiki Maki-e, and I love these pens to death, but I reach for the Brass Sport at least as often as I reach for any of them I bought a second Brass Sport and put a gold nib on it, which is way overpriced, but I wanted this pen to have every advantage. Even with the steel nib it is a fantastic writer, one of the best I have, and I can't believe I waited so long to buy one. I am NOT going to go down the bottomless rabbit hole of the plastic Sport, but I am going to buy all the metal Sports.
Wow!you got one of my grail pen and am still saving up for it. Yes the brass sport is a win for Kaweco. Do you plan to get the new bronze one? Its much more pricer than the brass one, so am hesitant if its worth it or not. Robert Oster Caffe Crema is perfect with my 823. And it works better when there's a lot of ink in there. If it's still dry the tines might be too tight. I recently had that issue with one of my pens and the fix is easy.
Oh good point! No I've never used traveler's notebook. It works well for me on Midori, but it's smoothest on Rhodia pads or Goalbook. I've also tried it on Clairefontaine Triomphe paper and it's not bad. Clairefontaine notebooks are a no for me with this pen.
I found out why the gold/bronze LAMY is lower build quality! It's because that one is AL-star but the rose gold one is considered Lx. I've been on a neutral kick too and I'm glad LAMY is branching into more neutral, subdued color schemes with their special editions and launches. Love your videos! I'm also filipino!

Oh my Twsbi Daimond Mini in the white rose gold is stained too. Even though I tried cleaning it off straight away, it just never came off. After realising that the same thing has happened to you, I wonder if it was a flaw in the production of the pen and it’s missing a coating of some sort?
If I can and my wallet agrees i’d love to have the M600 this year😂 its really very difficult to get them shipped here without hefty taxes. I’ll look into the Cleo Skribent haven’t heard of it yet. Thanks!!!
If you like the Ferris Wheel Press Carousel, absolutely try out The Brush Fountain Pen from FWP. It's 10x smoother writing experience, handles shimmer inks even better, and overall just a much better pen than the Carousel.
Great collection and yes, you are guilty😂! That’s a lot of pens! I wish you would have listed them in the comments! TWSBIs are so great because you can service them yourself (clean/grease/replace parts), they’re also great affordable writers. Don‘t be afraid to use your pens, sure they may show some wear after time, but they’ll age well with you. Enjoy your pens!

May I ask why you don’t put J Herbin in your expensive pens? I just received the Beni Talisman African Dream with a medium bib and inked with JH Cafe de Iles. I noticed that the downstrokes are more wet. I’m not sure if I like that feature yet. I’ll have to try another brand to see if it repeats the same result. What is your Beni Euphoria inked with?
Hi!thanks for watching:) Shimmering inks like J Herbin have those silver shimmers that can clog in the feed so the tendency is it can dry on that area and stuck like in my Lamy Vista demo so its visible but with other pen thats not demo its difficult to clean. I know you can soak it with water overnight but not really harmful to the pen its just me;) Right not my Benu is not in the rotation but I did inked it with FWP storried blue and its a wet writer but overall very smooth in the paper.☺️
Thanks for replying. Luckily the Cafe de Iles isn’t a shimmer as far as I can tell. It takes about 60 secs to dry fully in my Leuchttrun 1917. I’m worried about how it will perform in my hobonichi. May have to try a drier ink. I love the colors of this since the iced caramel latte euphoria is out of stock. Thanks for your feedback.
Yes…It's made from a biodegradable, super tough vegetal resin🥱 they said to put it in open air like air dry it and eventually the smell will go but i dont think so hahaha so yea we just have to not smell it hahaha..thanks for watching💚
