After looking at all the difference options i ended up getting this board. the biggest drawback of the second and third pcie only being gen 3 while not great is actually kinda fine in my opinion, since its connected directly to the cpu and doesn't go through the chipset, which means a lot of the kinds of cards people use for it will run into fewer bugs and hitches i guess? but to be fair i probably wont ever use another slot other than the main one for my gpu personally. and i do like that it has all those m.2 slots!
hmm overall its an ok board, not amazing tho. it has been giving me issues with the ethernet connection randomly being dropped. and apparently that's happening to a lot of other people too. and i think it might have killed one of my ram sticks lol but im getting that RMA'd@@reinulf656
GREAT BOARD, but yes the bios is terrible. also, the GPU socket is close to if not unreachable when GPU is on there. unless you have a VERY specific tool and know this or be a magical wizard. you are going to break at least one of the 'click levers' when removing your gpu because there is no way in hell you realise you need to get under there let alone that you can hold down that button
I follow a wide range of tech-tubers for years now and this is the first time I ever heard someone pronounce the vendor name "A-S-Rock". I See how their capitalisation kind of implies it that way but still sounds cursed to my ears.
Also has 8 layer pcb, definitely considering for my 7800X3D build. Thanks for the great video.
Thank you!
Did you end up going for it?
@elitepauper7400 I did mine is on way now 240$ at bew egg right now
Just used one of these in my latest custom build. No issues and I actually like the design.
What bios where you on at post ?

Are you happy with the board? Any issues?

In all honesty, isn't one PCIe 5.0 slot enough for your GPU? Do people really use all the PCIe slots, or am I missing something?"
Hi, please which one is better motherboard ?
( Asrock b650e taichi lite ) or ( Asrock X670E steel legend ) ?

Budget? this is the most expensive AM5 mobo in New Zealand :(
What about gigabyte x670e aorus master?
This isnt a budget x670e its just an x670e. But yeah I would get the taichi instead way nicer looking same board overall.
