You didn't expect me to start the song with clean vocals. And your reaction is part of the charm of the song - the surprise factor 😁. But rest assured... there's more to come. 😎
Yooooo, thanks for checking this out! You're nuts, what you're doing with this song! Congrats, it's one of the most unusual prog/tech-death stuff I've ever heard in a while! /Andrei
I wasn’t expecting the clean vocals AT ALL! It got me interested almost immediately and wanting more!🤩 I really enjoy this song! There was even some orchestral moments that surprised me as well… this song was hard to predict and I loooove it! Now I want more haha!! Awesome review guys! Another great discovery for me there!!🤘
Yo when those cleans came I was like whaaaaaaat??? It's been a brutal epic odd one! I think it's their only song atm actually but I'm not sure... glad you liked it though! Thanks for watching and have a great day! /Andrei
I KNEW you’d dig it - was just waiting for that breakdown, hehe. Personally, Rafael Trujillo’s tasty, melodic solo is my favourite of 2021, closely followed by Obscura - Solaris (those final harmonized arpeggios, man), Inferi - Carving Thy Kingdom and First Fragment (LOVE their lead guitar tone!) If you wanna check out some music that “could” rival technical metal genres at times, but purely with clean vocals, I highly suggest Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor. Much like this song, it’s got multiple dynamic switch-ups, beautiful guitar moments, HEAVY riffs, badass grooves and an EPIC climactic section! Plus, it’s 9 minutes long. Nevermore’s lead singer was Chuck Schuldiner’s (Death) first choice when he was forming Control Denied :)
It was SUCH a good song, OMG!! I've added the Nevermore suggestion, I know they should be sick cos Jeff Loomis. And about Control Denied, I didn't even know that existed! Maybe I check them out a bit as well. /Andrei
You guys are awesome. I had to stay through the breakdown and your reaction did not disappoint. I think the only thing less extreme about Obsidious versus Obscura is the guitars. You should check out Sebastian’s drum playthrough with the notation and click track. It will make a lot of sense why you had a hard time headbanging to the beat for long.
Too bad for Obscura that Obsidious brought their great production with them. The new Obscura sounds like it was produced by drunk 8 year olds. I know this is a hot take, but holy shit it sounds bad compared to Obsidious and Diluvium (which sounded GREAT).

Your voice is what makes the band stand out. Fantastic across all heights and styles. Can't get enough of the album.
Yo Javi, if you covered live and learn from sonic adventure 2 I will sign up for your patrion if you have one
May be the best album of 2022. And love the uber Need shirt!
Aye, thanks man, love need, and love this sort of nutty whacky techy stuff! / George
👏to your reaction. 🤘

Sound seemed alright to me but I didn't listen much to the others to compare... /Andrei
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses It's *alright* but it's really not good sounding compared to Diluvium.
